Convenient comfort

This property was perfect for my stay. 15 mins from my workplace in a new, quiet and family oriented neighborhood.

Great property in a very new area, the house had plenty of room for everything we wanted to do, cooking and playing. We had a great time and will remember it fondly as our little home away from home

Overall our stay for the family trip to Niagara Ontario was OK. Honestly, we reserved this property last minute so comparatively we could find similar property with lower price if time permitted. Here's an honest review of the property.... Even though it's in a new (construction still going on surrounding this property) neighborhood, there are signs of wear and tear everywhere. The pots and pans in the kitchen are old and rusty, cups and plates chipped off, blinds to the back door are falling off and the back door don't lock. The main issue bothered us was that there was no blackout curtains and the blinds in bedroom couldn't keep sunlight out. We were tired roaming out nights and morning sunlight bothered us from sleeping in. Be aware of the property owner trying to charge extra for small things. I got charged 50 dollars extra saying we left extra trash and feces in the toilet! We specially made sure to clean and have video recording of how we received the property and how we left it; still got charged on my credit card.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re working to switch out our kitchen appliances for new ones. We’ve never received a complaint regarding the curtains however we will look into replacing these too. In terms of the extra charge of $50; there was indeed feces in the toilet upon inspection from our cleaners. It’s important to double check with the rest of your group. As hosts we would not falsely charge a guest.

We want to write an honest review, as there are only 2 others on this home. We drove 6 hours from Ohio and we had not received any check-in information by the time we made it to New York. I sent a message and then received the code to the lock box 1 hour before the stated check-in time. Upon arrival, we noticed damage to the interior. Scuffed up walls, broken floor tiles in the bathroom, towel bars and TP holder had clearly been knocked off the walls a dozen times, stained carpets in the bedrooms.....and the smell, especially in the master bedroom was extremely overwhelming. There were also dirty pots in the cabinets. We took pictures of everything, every ding, every scratch...everything. This isn't our first time renting a home, so we know the usual check-in. Usually includes a binder about the home, the rules, check in/check out do's and don'ts, trash days, etc. None of that was provided. After check out I received a message.."Hi, our cleaners reported a missing pillowcase and chipped door." with a picture attached. Then, "Pillowcase has been found. What happened to the door?" Luckily we took those pictures because we were able to send proof that we were not responsible for the damage. But even after sending proof, all we got was a "Thanks for confirmation." No apology for accusing us of damaging the property. So if you stay here, beware. Overall, the house served it's purpose and gave us somewhere to sleep. The neighbors were nice, neighborhood was quiet.
