The Lookout plus studio is on a rural property with unique views over the Pataua and Taiharuru estuaries out to the sea. Ideal for families or groups, fishers and nature lovers. It is very peaceful with heaps of space to play. Wake up to the brilliant sunrise over the ocean and sit outside soaking in the stars and kiwi calls at sunset.
There is a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a private house plus a self-contained double studio 50 meters away.

The apartment has a double bedroom with gorgeous sunrise views, twin room, bathroom with separate granite shower room, and laundry. Note that there are no blinds or curtains in the rooms, but bedroom windows are tinted for privacy and face into gardens.
The kitchen and lounge area opens onto to terrace nestled amongst a palm garden. There is an outdoor picnic table and space to hang your beach gear out to dry.

The studio has been recently renovated and newly furnished. It adjoins a farm shed and is private and separate from the main house. Inside there is a double bed, corner table, and fully equipped kitchen. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. There are blinds in the studio.

There is a massive sloping lawn with plenty of space for a game of cricket, or for the kids to ride bikes. There is plenty of parking with space for boats, trailers or campers. The studio is next to a seldom used private airstrip.

Fishermen are catered for with easy boat turning and parking, and a fish cleaning station outside the studio.

Campers may be accommodated with an external power supply and parking space next to the studio. Please enquire if you have more than 6 people and would like to camp. Extra charges may apply.

10 minute drive to the shops and cafes at Parua Bay.
5 minutes drive from Pataua South where you can swim, fish, paddle, and launch a boat. Pataua North surf beach is another 5 minutes walk over the footbridge.
15 minutes drive from the walking tracks at Whangarei Heads.
30 minutes drive from Whangarei town center.
