Our family spent a week here and it was just amazing! The walk to the beach is short and enjoyable. The home was very clean and spacious. The only thing I could suggest is to bring your own Roku/fire stick if you like streaming. The smart tvs were a bit finicky and you’d have to go through many steps to get logged into Netflix etc daily, but then again we are not that tech savvy so it could have been an error on our part. I would definitely stay here again.

The check out was early and after a good vacation we would of like to stay a sleep for a littld more. Other places I have stayed check out is at 11am.

The proximity to the beach was great! However when we checked in the AC unit was off and not working properly. It was over 86 degrees in the main area and over 95 in the lift area. We could not stay inside the unit. We left a msg with the answering service and had to call back twice to get resolution. We finally had an HVAC guy show up and he had to rewire both the inside unit as well as the outside. This seems like it should’ve been caught prior to our arrival. The unit when we arrived was clean…somewhat. Still sand all over. And no cleaning supplies for the dishwasher (supposed to start the dishwasher when leaving). No basic supplies for the W/D so feel if these things won’t be supplied it should be in the description to bring them. Also there was miscommunication about what we were supposed to clean and what housekeeping would do. Over a good stay for the 8 of us for a baby moon and engagement celebration!

Thank you for staying at Shore to Please and for sharing this detailed feedback. We’re very sorry the AC wasn’t working at check-in and that it took multiple calls to get a technician out. We understand how uncomfortable that was, and it should have been caught before arrival. The unit being rewired by the HVAC tech is noted, and we’ll review our pre-arrival checks and vendor scheduling to help prevent this happening again. We also apologize the unit wasn’t as clean as expected and for the sand left behind. Sand can be an issue at beach properties, but we expect a thorough clean and will share your notes with housekeeping so missed areas are addressed. Regarding supplies, we provide a starter pack of basic items (including dishwasher and laundry basics) and include that information in pre-arrival materials. We’ll work on making that communication clearer so guests know what to bring for longer stays. Finally, we’re sorry for the miscommunication about checkout responsibilities — we will clarify those instructions in our listing and guest communications.
