Awesome!

The property is listed accurately, well kept, in a very nice and quiet cove, and close to the restaurants on the water and beach areas. Great house and location to spend a weekend getaway!

Memorial Day weekend

The property has a great location on the water and off. Everything you could need is within a 5min drive and only a short boat ride to on the water dining. The dock is very spacious and tucked back in a nice quiet cove. Also, the fire pit was a great way to watch the sun set over the water.

First, the location is great. That is the ONLY positive about this place. It was dirty, cobwebs everywhere. We couldn’t sit outside because everything was so dirty- not sure the outdoor furniture had ever been wiped down. No iron, no wine glasses, tv’s didn’t work, floor sinking in all through the house, lights did not work in every room, some rooms did not have lights. We had to buy our own toilet paper, not enough for 4 people for 5 days. Plates and utensils had to be cleaned before use, both kayaks could not be used due to a hornets nest. Host was rude. No grill. We lost power when we were there and there were no flashlights or lighter for a candle. We had to leave early due to no power and water and host refused to refund any money. Would not rent this place -waste of money and disgusting!

Location was fantastic and loved the boat dock. had a pontoon delivered to the dock and made the outing so easy. comfortable house. great communication from owner.

I find it hard to believe that the home was cleaned before we checked in because there were large spider webs that spanned across the entire master bathroom tub, doorframes, and other areas. The back porch was covered in pollen with chairs flipped over and furniture cushions on the floor, under the table, and in the corner. I also understand that it is well water, but it was the nastiest smelling water. We couldn’t even use it to brush our teeth and had to use bottled water. Taking a shower was out of the question because the longer the water ran the worst it smelled. Lastly, the directions said that we would receive a text message with the door code before 4pm check in. By 350 I hadn’t received anything. I called the rental company and was forwarded on to the host’s voicemail. He called back right at 4 and said that he had surgery earlier in the week and that caused him to be behind. IMO if you can’t keep up with your property, then do not rent it out for the same week.
