Wonderful spot in the heart of Amherstburg and within walking distance to everything. Clearly designed by someone with impeccable taste and attention to detail. The ensuite showers were an unexpected luxury and thoroughly enjoyed. Sleeping arrangements may be best suited for 2 couples or 4 people willing to share the 2 queen beds as the sofa was not so comfy for my 6’2” son. Other than that, it was simply charming and I would highly recommend to anyone.

My wife and I and another couple came to Amherstburg for a friend's retirement party and a trip to Point Pelee. We arrived early, but everything was ready for us. The house has been redone in a pleasant blend of historic and modern furnishings. Everything was neat and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-supplied with supplies and appliances. Ben, the host, was attentive and responded quickly to questions (e.g., we ran out of coffee pods and he dropped some off almost immediately). The house is located in the center of the historic town with excellent access to food and drinks. We had a great time and have no reservations or concerns in recommending the Stone Cottage.
