A beautiful location especially if you are interested in fall migration! Quiet, clean and comfortable. Loved the option of open and covered deck as we experienced a variety of weather. The mere steps to the beach offered stunning sunrise and sunset photos. would highly recommend this cozy spot .

We absolutely loved our stay at The Nest. I think it is my favourite place I have ever stayed. The cottage and property are immaculate. The property is massive and steps to the beach. We loved the privacy and the quiet. Everything about the nest was fantastic, we can't wait to return.

Thank you for taking the time to write a 5* review and letting everyone know about the beach location and the trails within the conservation area. We're happy that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon. The Nest Team.
We enjoyed our visit , we find every thing we need . One thing , we wanted more privacy with the beach. We had some people walking while we are swimming despite we mentioned that we need a very restricted privacy due to our religionAlso with the bonfire area needs more privacy.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We do note in our listing that the beach is part of a shared park area and is accessible to others. We appreciate your comments regarding privacy around the firepit area, and we're currently considering adding a privacy feature as a future upgrade to enhance our guests' experience. We're happy that you enjoyed your stay though and we hope to host you again at The Nest. Sincerely, Team Nest
Great space, just seconds to the lake and a few minutes to a wonderful lookout. Perfect for a family of 6! Lots of space outside to play games and relax. Lots of nature to see and even had repeat visits from a hummingbird!
This was our third time here and we will be back again and again.

The property had alot of potential for a relaxing vacation. However, we were very unlucky to come at the time when there were a swarm of fish flies all over the area. We never got to enjoy the patio. They were all covered and everything put away

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and noting the potential for a relaxing vacation. The mayflies are harmless and are an indicator of a healthy Lake Erie but can be bothersome for some. We did offer to blow them off the deck and also have a fan available. We hope you will allow us the opportunity to host you at another time. Team Nest
The cottage was super clean and came with everything we needed for a fun weekend with our kids. Great location, easy to find, even better than in the photos!
Having visited Holiday Beach on a couple of previous occasions, this was our first time staying at "The Nest". Hopefully, it won't be the last. While the lake didn't entirely cooperate in terms of swimming or paddling (i.e., high bacteria counts and waves), we thoroughly enjoyed walking along the beach, hiking through the park, seeing bald eagles soar, and time savouring the solitude afforded to us in and around the cottage. Generally, we were provided with all the things we needed to ensure a relaxing and memorable visit.Mike, Tracie, and JonathanLondon, ON

Thank you for the kind review and for choosing to spend your time at The Nest. While lake conditions can vary and beyond our control, we're pleased that you found other ways to experience the park and all of the peaceful solitude that it offers. We hope to host you again soon, the Nest Team.
Beautiful place to stay, cottage is beautiful, so quiet, lots to see, bike rides, kids found baby turtle, toads, frog, racoons, coyote tracks, cranes, swans. Lots to do in the area.
