It was a very nice home. Nice renovations. Lots of space. We had a problem with the AC the first day but they got someone out immediately to get it fixed. We had a good stay!

Fantastic home for a group who has activities planned in Asheville. The location is close to downtown without being right in the middle of the bustling town activity. The driveway and parking are a little tricky - a long narrow driveway with a tight turn into the drive. The parking is on a large flat gravel space with room for 5 cars. We had 12 people ranging in age from 8 to 75 and it worked for everyone. There are 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. The one thing to know is that there is one bathroom upstairs near 3 bedrooms and the kitchen/dining area, so it can get busy. The downstairs is where you will find a king bedroom with a large adjoining bathroom, two more rooms with a hall bath, and a living area with large couch and tv. Definitely room for people to spread out. The two hall baths are quite tight, with very narrow toilet space and sink space. Definitely best used one person at a time!Our favorite thing, though, was the large dining table adjoining the kitchen. It made for fun family meals where everyone could be included. The kitchen was pretty fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve meals. The washer/dryer is upstairs in the mudroom just off the kitchen and was easy to use. There does not appear to be an outlet to plug in the iron in the mudroom so we just set up the ironing board in the kitchen when we needed it.All in all, we were very pleased with the house and would definitely recommend. Getting in was easy and all instrux were easy to follow.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property, with family coming together from across the States and internationally for a celebration of life for the family patriarch who passed at the age of 93. This beautiful property (outside, too!) was centrally located and easily suited the varied ages and needs of folks staying here. I will absolutely look to book here again the next time I have a large group in town.

Ideal location for our daughter’s wedding weekend. Enough room for us to gather our out of town family for brunch and to provide enough space for hair and makeup stylists to work on the bride and bridesmaids. Convenient shopping across the street. The mama bear and three cubs in backyard one morning was a big thrill! Loved it.

Absolutely Amazing!

This home is incredibly peaceful. I hosted a conference in Asheville and I needed a place for my 5 musicians to stay. They ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Very clean, spacious, peaceful and an overall great place to rest and relax! I would only want to book THIS location when visiting AVL.
