Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great position in Amity Point. Very relaxing setting in lovely gardens that offer peace and quiet but close to amenities. It gives a sea frontage with a fishing jetty. A great family experience

Perfect spot. Very clean on arrival. Check in was smooth and easy. Easy walk to local coffee shop and restaurant along with general store. Beach is an easy walk from property. Grandchildren loved the fishing from the jetty. Property has a nice outdoor area which we utilised to the fullest. Thank you.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and view fantastic. Privacy was also great. The only downside to this property was the building wasn't sealed and there were gecko's and cockroaches inside which was a pity as everything else about it was fantastic.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Little cabin was cute but that is where the enjoyment ended.There was no pantry so had to put groceries in a bedroom cupboard. There were no sharp knives at all and had to use dinner knives to cut everything. The outside courtyard is not a pleasant place to sit as there is absolutely no view and there were heaps of mosquitoes. The BBQ wasn't the best and the firepit wasn't either. Unfortunately there were cockroaches. We shortened our stay (only stayed 2 nights out of 10) and when handing the keys back and explained why the rental company didn't do anything to recompense us. Said they would speak to the owners but didn't just let the rental time lapse when we got a questionnaire to say now that we had had our holiday how was it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a truly wonderful week here at Tandhu. The private jetty was an absolute highlight for us and we had the grounds fairly much to ourselves to relax and wind down. We saw Whales, dolphins, turtles and caught a huge variety of fish. The owners were on sight but kept to themselves and were so lovely and welcoming to our family. This was one of our best ever straddie holidays. We will be back.

The host was there for a couple of days but we didnt realise he was the host. The yard was perfect for our staffy to chill out in. The gate to keep her in was questionable but it held up. The cabin was a mixture of dated and modern. Food on the island is expensive as to be expected so if you are bringing food make sure you bring the necessary pantry items ie. Salt, pepper, oil, paper towels etc the kitchen is fully srocked with appliances. Kids fished their hearts out but snags were the only fish they caught. Its a beautiful relaxing place to stay and close to great local shops. The wildlife were everywhere and a real bonus for our boys to see up close.
