Perfect place and amazing location! Right by the beach and the downtown! We could walk everywhere. This cottage has everything and is very spacious! It even has a cool coffee bar! Our family had a great vacation here!

It was an amazing location! We easily walked to the beach and into town. The house was great - lots of places to gather and socialize and very high end furnishings and amenities. It does live a bit loud so if you have people on different schedules could be difficult.

Great amenities in this house especially all the kitchen ware and dishes! We had ten people comfortably stay here. So close to the beach and loved every minute of it.

Beautiful renovated historic home with updated bathrooms and kitchen. Charming walk in the neighborhood. Close to beach but easier to drive and park there rather than walk. Greatly enjoyed our stay with our family!

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped property. Plenty of room. Perfect for our family of 9. Less than 2 minute walk from the beach, and a few minute drive into downtown Grand Haven. Would definitely stay again!

Way more than a cottage!

Perfect for our families (2 generations, 5 kids plus spouses). Enough space for us to be together (or apart)! Parking was tricky but as described. Would totally rent again!

Magical! Staying at Bide-A-Wee was a dream. The whole house felt like a hug. The rooms were so thoughtfully designed and beautiful. The kitchen has everything a lover of cooking and entertaining would need. It feels like a luxurious treehouse with a view of Lake Michigan. The neighborhood is historic and charming. Thank you for making this property available to rent. It is a treasure.

Spectacular RentalWe had a family reunion with adults from all over the country meet in Grand Haven. This rental house is nothing short of spectacular. The design choices are exquisite with so many details in every room (even the guys noticed!) The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We did a lot of cooking while on site and nothing was missing. We also thought that the bedrooms and beds were all comfortable enough and I found the twin beds in the basement to be the softest which agrees with my back. There were enough bathrooms for nine adults to comfortably shower as needed. The location to the beach is perfect with a short walk down some steep steps. They have every beach toy you could imagine including easy to carry chairs which we took down to the beach one day. As mentioned in the description, the parking is a bit of a challenge but worth it. The house is situated in a neighborhood called Highland Park Association which was very quaint with many beautiful lake houses all nestled into a very small area. We were able to unload our car including coolers and food without much difficulty. It would be difficult to find this spot in the dark. The video that they provide from the parking lot to the house is very helpful. We felt very safe and secure with the automatic door lock feature and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We sat out on the deck for all of our meals and we were able to make s'mores one night at the propane fire pit. Just a perfect getaway.

This was a beautiful, well stocked home in a great location! High end finishes and a very cozy feel. The only downside was the parking which posed some logistics issues for our larger group being there were only two spots. Other than that it was a wonderful place to stay for our trip!

Great location. We thought everything was very walkable (beach 5 minute walk, downtown about 1-1.5 miles). House was very nice. Kids loved it. Would recommend. Host was very responsive
