About this property

This home is located a 10 minutes south of the town of Grand Haven, just 3 blocks from Buchanan Beach, a clean and quiet Lake Michigan Beach. We also have a membership to the Christian Reform Campground, directly across the street. Our guests can use their beach, restrooms and facilities.
The property is less than a mile from American dunes gold club.
This is a very well maintained home that is fully furnished with everything you will need for a relaxing beach vacation. There are 3 bedrooms: Master w/ King bed and attached bath and closet on the first floor. Bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds and queen bedroom with a crib on the second floor. A full bathroom with a tub/shower on the second floor. There is a full basement that is set up with a queen bed, king bed and an additional set of bunk beds. Basement has separate seating area with a TV, a table and chairs for 4 and a full bathroom with a shower stall.

A full family room with TV, Cable, and DVD/Blu-ray player is furnished with leather furniture. Eating area has space for 6-8 people to eat. There are 4 bar stools for more people to eat at the counter.

The desk has plenty of outlets to plug in all electronics and a space to work.
Washer and dryer on the first floor, just off of kitchen.
Attached garage and plenty of parking.
Basketball net, fire pit and a quiet street for kids to ride bikes.
At the end of our street, there is a bike path where you can ride from Holland to Grand Haven, a beautiful ride!
Best of all is the in ground pool! This is private to our home and is professionally maintained.

Groom’s Family and Groomsmen

We had a fantastic stay as we prepared for wedding weekend. The house was close to the bride’s family home a mile away and within 20 minutes of the Spring Lake venue. The Groomsmen stayed the night before wedding and had a great time using the pool and having a bonfire. The house was clean with plenty of sleeping space for all. What a fabulous weekend. Everything you need or want is there. Bikes, games, great heated pool & campfire. The house is very clean and has a homey feel. Plenty of places to go & see. Will try to go again!

The King Family vacation

This home had everything you could possibly need. Since our stay was only 3 nights we stayed at the house and enjoyed the pool and firepit. We only made 1 trip to see Lake Michigan. It was so nice to get away from work and home to relax at this wonderful property. We will most likely return next summer.

Great Family Trip!

We stayed at this house last summer for a few nights and had a great time. This year, we booked a full week and enjoyed it immensely. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. Short drive to town, can walk to beach and the pool was enjoyed every day. Lots of pool and beach gear in garage and a large number of bikes, as well. We are already planning our trip for next year!

2023 Family Vacation

We had a great time. 2nd time at this VRBO. The weather was lousy, highs barely making the low 60s and rain, but the facilities and heated swimming pool more than made up for it. We swam multiple times every day through the cold and rain. The location is so close to great paths for walking, biking, and hiking. Kids and grandkids left talking about coming back next year!

Fantastic Family Getaway

What a great place to stay! The house had everything we needed and the pool was terrific. Location was absolutely perfect for our family giving us easy access to all Grand Haven has to offer but with the privacy of a family home in a great neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again!

We do a whole family vacation every other year. This was by far the best home we have stayed in. Elizabeth was very responsive to any and all questions and is very personable and delightful to deal with. We are a busy family of 6 who love being at the beach. We have been vacationing in the Grand Haven area for the past 6 years before deciding to purchase. We have made this home very comfortable for our four young children. We enjoy being at the house with our extended family, there is room for everyone to be comfortable.

Why they chose this property

You really have the best of both worlds with this house. The beach is just a few blocks or you can stay and hang out at the pool. The town of Grand Haven has lots to see and do.

What makes this property unique

This home is close enough to town to get groceries (Meijer and Wal-Mart are a 10 minute drive) but the home is located in a very quiet area. You have the best of everything with this property! Just sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs with your morning coffee is a wonderful way to start your day!
