Cutesy Camper in the Woods

Located on an 8-acre oceanfront property, this cutesy camper will give you the privacy, and solitude nearby public camping options can't provide. The property, affectionally known as Mother Mushroom, is home to Campobello Island's only Market Garden, as well as a nano-brewery, focusing on small batch, traditional ales, and local flavours.

With trails to the ocean, various farm animals, and fresh veggies and beer, this is a truly one-of-a-kind farmstay opportunity.

About the bathrooms, there are two options:

1) The camper comes equipped with an outdoor shower and composting toilet, that are for the exclusive use of guests in the camper.

2) A bathroom equipped with a full shower/bath/bidet is available in the main house, shared with the property owners.

ROOSTERS - This is a working farm. There are roosters. You will hear the roosters. We can't stop the roosters from cock-a-doodley-dooing.

SMOKING - Smoking is only permitted outside of your accommodations, and away from entry doors and windows.

PETS - Pets must be leashed at all times. We have had dogs chase/kill our animals. If your pet is off leash you will be asked to leave immediately.

Enjoyed the rustic charm of the farm and the vision of young owners transforming their property into a place for people to gather. The accommodations were suitable during August weather, trailer was clean and comfortable, outdoor shower warm and refreshing, bistro lights at night for atmosphere was perfect! Owners very kind, accommodating, great fresh roast coffee and French press, farm stroll and animals were bonus. If you are outdoorsy, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy Campobello!

Pleasant retreat

Centrally located on Campobello, quiet but friendly, hosts were lovely. If your idea of glamping is a 5-star hotel just in a tent, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for somewhere a little more comfortable and convenient than camping, don’t want to worry about whether it will rain, know what you’re getting into with a composting toilet, and a rustic outdoor shower is your idea of luxury, you’ll have a wonderful stay.
