About this property

Campobello Island Vocational Retreats & Cottage Living

“Fog Mornings at Une BelleVue - Where Eagles Soar”

There’s a special kind of quiet that settles over Campobello Island when the fog drifts in from the water. At Une BelleVue - Where Eagles Soar, the world softens into a gentle white mist, rolling past the windows like slow-moving clouds. Ocean and sky blend together, and everything feels calm, cozy, and suspended in time.

And through that soft fog, the lighthouse keeps watch.

Head Harbour Lightstation’s foghorn calls out steadily, not every few minutes, but almost every minute, a deep, reassuring voice echoing across the water. It becomes part of the rhythm of the morning, a guardian’s heartbeat. One of our guests, here for a long 16‑day stay, smiled and said, after listening to it all night, “I just love that foghorn,” It’s a sound people remember long after they leave.

Foggy mornings here aren’t just weather.

They’re an experience, a moment of serenity that settles into your chest. Whether you’re curled up with a warm drink or simply watching the mist drift by, Campobello’s fog has a way of slowing the world down and soothing the soul.

This is island quiet.
This is coastal magic.
This is Une BelleVue - Where Eagles Soar.

About the host

Host profile image
I am from Barrie, Ontario, originally from Barbados. I enjoy long walks everyday. This is my fourth year hosting and am still in learning mode.

Why they chose this property

I chose Campobello to retire. I love the fresh ocean breeze coming off the ocean and it is absolutely beautiful here. Going for long walks, bike riding, watching the fishing boats out at sea, wading my feet in the water down by the beach, bird watching and simply enjoying my surroundings is just a few of the many things this Island has to offer.

I love this Oceanview property with the beach right in my backyard, which is accessible with no obstructions of rocks and boulders with seaweed to cross over to get to it, just a beautiful almost private beach which is enclosed in it's own little cove. I love the property for its serenity, beauty and secludedness, the nature of the surroundings, the fresh sea breeze, the deer's I see occasionally, the whales and bald eagles and other beautiful birds, the spectacular views of the ocean from the house and the feeling of peacefulness.

Absolutely Loves It Here...

What makes this property unique

The ocean in the backyard. While other properties offer ocean views, this property being the (ONLY) one on Campobello with direct access to a clean beautiful beach.

There are also spectacular views of the sunrise, the moon and its shadow on the water, very beautiful. When the moon is out, it comes up right over the water.

You will also see fishing boats coming in at night with their daily catch as they sail by with colorful lights on, very beautiful.

Guest can also sit by the firepit at night or in the cool of the evening and simply enjoy the view.
