Our family absolutely loved staying here! It was the best mini vacation. The host and her husband were fantastic people and the apartment was superb. The town was closed down for the season, which was perfectly fine with us. The General Store on the corner was the second best part of our stay. It had the best coffee & fresh picked flowers. We took a brisk walk in the morning around the marina, and surrounding neighborhood. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we will be coming back during the summer when the season opens backs up.

Cozy , comfortable, clean and all the amenities one would need. Wonderful helpful hosts. Wachapreague General Store just across the street with coffee and breakfast sandwiches that were out of this world. If you find yourself in need of a place to decompress The Artist Apartment in Wachapreague is certainly your destination.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Artist Apartment! The space is beautifully designed with plenty of room inside, and the outdoors space is just as nice! Between the two decks, the screened porch connecting them and the backyard with its magical lighting, there was always a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ambiance. We especially appreciated how much space there was for everyone to spread out and have their own quiet moments. The location was perfect, right on main street within walking distance to the corner market, marinas, local restaurant and even the art studio downstairs. My brother and I grew up in wachapreague, and it was so meaningful to come back and make new memories with both of our families. We spent two beautiful days exploring Cedar Island, collecting shells and soaking in the natural beauty of such a special hidden gem. On top of it all, the owners were so kind and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this home and plan to make this an annual tradition for our family!
