Great house, comfortable and spacious.

We had a group stay at this home for 8 days. The property manager made check in easy and was very communicative throughout the stay. She catered to the extra items that we needed specifically in the kitchen once we got comfortable. All the basic amenities were available for the stay. The rooms, beds, linens were all comfortable. The location was perfect for our stay - not far from Seattle and other trendy towns. I highly recommend this location.

Less than satisfactory.

We came to Seattle for an annual family girls trip. We had some last minute unexpected changes as there was a death in the family and not everyone was able to make the trip. Our host did accommodate even with such a short notice. For that we are grateful. However once we made it to the VRBO communication was, unexpected. The host would only communicate through my direct number instead of through the VRBO app. She also requested to have my photo ID ahead of checking in. This is has never been a request in the past because identity is verified through VRBO. The cleanliness of the home was at best satisfactory. All of the bathrooms were noticeably dirty. As well, none of them had any hand soap, only hand sanitizer. To wash our hands we had to go downstairs and use the dish soap in the kitchen. The curtains in some bedrooms were so sheer you could see in and out so it felt like our privacy was compromised. The downstairs bedroom smelled so terribly of cat pee when we arrived it took almost the entire trip before it was manageable to be in the room for extended periods of time such as sleeping. It felt as though we were being watched for our entire trip. Anytime we came or left the property the host was texting us. The host also came on site without prior notice after we took the trash bins to the curb as she had asked. We have always made sure to have open communication with hosts in the past but this experience felt like we could not fully relax and were always on guard
