Welcome to Serenity Cottage, a peaceful and inviting escape in the heart of Taupo. Designed for comfort and flexibility, this spacious holiday home is an excellent base for families or small groups looking to relax and explore the region.

The open-plan living space is filled with natural light and warmth, offering a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The adjoining dining area and well-equipped kitchen provide everything needed to prepare and share meals with ease.

This home offers a flexible sleeping layout across multiple spaces. Upstairs, the main bedroom features a Queen bed, and a second bedroom includes a King single. Downstairs, one bedroom includes a Super King bed that splits into two single beds. In addition, a long single bed is located in an annex off the second lounge. This space is separated with a moveable partition to offer added privacy, though it is not a separate bedroom.

There are two bathrooms in the house, providing added convenience for families or groups. A heat pump ensures comfort year-round, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.

The property features a shared driveway with off-street parking available for guest use. Outside, enjoy a peaceful garden setting ideal for a quiet morning coffee or evening wine.

The lakefront is just a 10-15 minute walk from the property, or a short drive if you prefer. You'll also find Taupo’s vibrant town centre, local cafés, and must-see attractions including Huka Falls and the nearby hot springs within easy reach.

We absolutely loved our stay! This house was just perfect for us—warm, clean, spacious, and so comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home, especially during the cold weather. Jessica was incredibly kind and responsive. We didn’t initially have the Wi-Fi information, but she got back to us straight away and even followed up with another phone call the next day to make sure everything was sorted. We really appreciated her thoughtful communication and care. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we would happily come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Cottage! The home was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and we loved the cozy living space for relaxing in the evenings.The location was perfect, peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive into Taupo. It really lived up to its name, the cottage felt calm and relaxing from the moment we arrived.Our hosts were fantastic too, with clear communication that made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free.We left feeling refreshed and will definitely look to stay again on our next Taupo trip. Highly recommended!I wish we knew that the property does provide a XL dog cage this would have saved us bring ours.
