The place was clean when we arrived. It is a bach: though entirely serviceable, the bathroom and toilet areas are a little tatty. On the positive side it felt like being at a bach. There is a good collection of DVDs and board games. The place was a great base for our 3 night stay. We went tramping in Tongariro National Park the first day and soaked in the Wairakei Terraces hot pools the second. It is within easy walking distance to town and to the lakeside promenade. The outdoor socket in the carport enabled us to recharge our EV overnight and be ready for each day's adventure.

Cosy batch in a fabulous location

Location was fantastic, around the corner from a four square, cafe, fish and chip shop ans 10 min walk to the main Taupo shops and lake. House was nice and comfortable.
