Quiet area next to horse stables surrounded by wooded area. The house is well furnished, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen appliances and pots/pans and utensils are stocked for cooking. The house is about a 5 minute drive from Westwood Lake and 15 minutes from the Nanaimo waterfront. We would stay at this property again.

Well stocked spacious house perfect for our needs to explore Nanaimo & surrounding areas and cook at home in the gorgeous kitchen. So much thought has been put into what a person might need during their visit. Three queen beds suited us perfectly and the mattresses were very plush and comfortable. There was even a memory foam cot we folded out for my youngest. The air conditioned rooms were so lovely and there were 4 TVs in the home with Roku - perfect for rainy spurts. A very spacious kitchen/family room/dining room space. My daughter loved to look at the horses seen from the house or the geese that visited the property. We would definitely stay again - the only problem was having to leave.

The host was extremely responsive and very easy to deal with, and the house was exactly as pictured. Very nicely done, well maintained and clean. As a nice touch, and especially for a house in a quieter area, the kitchen was very well supplied in terms of equipment and food staples like flour, oils, some spices and coffee/tea. Wholly recommend.

Stayed for a week in the summer

I stayed here for about a week with two colleagues while we were in Nanaimo for work. The place is spacious and lovely. Anne Marie and her daughter Christiana were super responsive to our messages, and worked to quickly resolve a few issues we had while there. The rental is a short drive from downtown Nanaimo, and a close to Westwood Lake, which was nice for jogging/walking/swimming.

Beautiful property next to a horse farm with fruit trees all around. Deer were coming by every night. It's right outside Nanaimo but very quiet.The house itself is very nice and well equipped. With 3 comfortable bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 showers it could easily support 3 couples staying.Very happy with the stay and the host was incredibly responsive. She never took more than a couple minutes to get back to me.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent for any occasion!
