Quiet, peaceful, neighborhood. Canoeing, relaxing on the dock, star gazing around the firepit, hiking, waterfalls, Santa's Village for kids, Lady Muskoka Boat cruise, Mini putt. High falls is a great spot for memorable photos 5 minutes away. Or take in some live theatre at the Rene Caisse theatre https://www.theatremuskoka.ca Bracebridge Hall is steps away from the falls in downtown Bracebridge in the carriage house https://www.bbhall.ca Forgot something no worries Shopping in town 10 minutes away.

All recycle items place in the bins the District is very strict on this NO recycling or composting items in the garbage. Please. Remember to take all your tech plugins, these get left behind often.

The cottage was perfect for us.We really enjoyed our stay. We are already from northern Ontario. So we're well aware of the great atmosphere. Everything was made available to us. The host of the cottage was extremely helpful with checking in also with area knowledge. Great for a family getaway.

The river cottage was in a lovely location and was an affordable accommodation in the Muskokas.We stayed for 2 weeks with 4 of us and had plenty of room. The bunkie is a great addition. There were plenty of things in the kitchen for making meals and a nice seating area outdoors for dining outside . A nice place for 4 people or a couple young families.

We all enjoyed our stay at Leslie's cottage by the river. We spent a lot of time lounging on the dock, enjoying the patio set, and canoe and kayaks provided! Leslie's communication was amazing, we even got tips on where to find some really cool waterfalls just minutes away from our location. I slept in the bunkie myself, and found it very comfortable. The kitchen had lots of space, and the kids took advantage of the tv in the living room. We would definitely recommend staying here!

I loved this house, quite neighborhood, private dock on the river. It was not the most luxurious place, but for my needs, it was almost perfect. The only fault I could find with this house, was there is no laundry facilities on site. This was not a property fault, this was an overlook on my part.

The location is perfect! Close to everything to do and see in Bracebridge. Though I thought the cottage was right by the water, there is a road you have to cross to get to the dock. We enjoyed the coziness of the cottage, and the kids enjoyed it as well. Neighbours are quiet, definitely not a place to party, but perfect for a family. The host was great at communicating and answered all questions promptly. We agreed it was a little pricey for what you get, but we wished we stayed longer because we did enjoy it. Also there is no fan above the stove, so if u decide to cook make sure you open the windows, and don't forget to bring your own pillows and bedding if u decide to stay here. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Great getaway

Lovely, clean property directly across from the Muskoka river Nice dock/sitting area to enjoy some reading and relaxing. Ample amenities, just remember (as Leslie reminded me) to bring your own bedding/towels. Firewood is provided as well, but check the weather beforehand, as there were some damp days before I arrived so if you aren't solid at starting fires, bring your own (and some softwood)) There are also neighbors on either side who kept to themselves, as did I so ZERO issues with that. However, if you're looking for a secluded, blare music and be rowdy, this certainly would not be the place for you. Price point was great, Leslie's communication was top notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for having me :)
