Great place for those that need a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom place to stay with the convenience of having a kitchen. This fit the bill just fine.

We were in the area working and the place was suitable for our needs. Reasonably priced and clean. The house is old and does come with ‘old house’ quirks. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had the water heater go out during our stay and they got right on it and got it replace the same day. It is in a great location, quite and private.

The stay was great for our purposes four people fishing on the Columbia River for a weekend. The historic old house is divided up and we had the lower part of it. That was a little confusing and could be explained a little better in the description of the place. The interior was refurbished and, while nothing fancy, it was well appointed and clean. Being right next to the main road was convenient and the road noise was not a bother. I would definitely rent this place again

We're so glad the stay worked out well for your fishing weekend on the Columbia River. It's great to hear the space felt clean and well appointed, and that the location right off the main road was convenient without being a bother. We appreciate you sharing the note about the layout of the historic house being split into units, that's helpful feedback.

It was a great place to stay near Sunset Beach, with a decent price, as many others were overpriced. The manager was flexible with time, and we had a great time. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect location of you are wanting to go to Sunset beach for claming or just to drive and hang out. Close to stores but still feels very private. The house is beautiful and such a cool piece of Oregon history. We all had a great time and will definitely be booking again!

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay with family gathering from WA & OR. This location was advertised as having two separate rentals on the property but inquiry about the 'other' location was met with vague explanations other than 'yes, there is another rental on property' when it was the second story to the home. Luckily, the upstairs was vacant & quiet during our stay. The home is right on a very busy road with traffic noise throughout our stay, however, once inside & visiting the extensive barrier around the home of bamboo and other greenery buffeted most of the noise and the greenery also offered privacy. The kitchen table only has 2 stools & 1 chair & there were four of us. There were only 3 TV trays in the living room. Be aware of the step up into the kitchen once inside the home. Also, as you walk down the hall to the bedrooms/bathrooms the whole house slopes downward toward the road. We had two family members with canes who were caught off balance by this causing one of them to stumble. A cautionary note would have been appreciated. Because of the slope the head of the bed in the first bedroom was downhill. My husband was able to find material to prop up the bed frame at the head of the bed, so we were able to level the bed. Amenities were appreciated. Firepit was nice. We were all grateful for early access after a long drive! We enjoyed gathering and visiting this lovely area and we appreciate the owner sharing this conveniently located historic home.

We're glad your family from WA and OR enjoyed gathering here, and that the bamboo buffer and firepit added to the stay, plus that early check-in helped after a long drive. On seating, the kitchen table has 2 stools and 1 chair as pictured, but there's also a folding table and chairs in the pantry along with TV trays that other guests have used for larger groups. The home is 110 years old, which accounts for the sloped floors you noticed. As for the upstairs unit, the only call we received during your stay was regarding early access, which we were happy to accommodate; we didn't receive any inquiry or text about the second unit itself. Thank you for sharing this feedback and for spending time at this historic property.

We found the home worked well for our short weekend stay. There isn’t sufficient room in the kitchen area for more than a couple people to eat together. Additionally, the only chairs were stools making it difficult with an 18 month old at mealtime. There was no salt or pepper so we bought picked it up at the local store and left it for the next guests.

This was a very convenient property for me and my 3 teenage grandchildren for our stay at the coast. I did need to contact the property manager due to a kitchen drawer front that fell off when touched. He was very responsive for a quick fix. Overall a cute property and I would stay again.

The property was very historic and a very good use of the space. Three separate bedrooms, two separate bathrooms. It was a wonderful place. The location was perfect and I was so happy with the accommodations. Couldn’t have asked for anything that wasn’t already there!
