Modern Condo in Downtown Holland: The Superior

The Superior is a two-bedroom 3rd floor condo overlooking the main shopping district in award-winning downtown Holland. The sunny living room provides a birds eye view of all the 8th street activities. The fully furnished kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and seating for four at the breakfast bar. The cozy living room has a full-size sleeper sofa, flat screen tv and a recliner, perfect for movie viewing. The bedrooms are spacious and include one queen-size bed, dresser and a large closet in each bedroom. The sleeper sofa in the living room will allow this unit to accommodate up to six guests. The bathroom features custom tile, a granite countertop and a large soaking tub with shower.

Centrally located in the heart of the 8th Street business district this condo is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, breweries, Sperry Movie House, and Hope College.

The buildings that house the Lofts date back to the early 1900s. The architectural details and unique construction provide a perfect backdrop for these condos.

PARKING
Parking is available for one vehicle in the designated lots, and a parking permit is required.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation at no charge.
- Cancel 14 days or more in advance, and receive a full refund.
- Cancel 7 days in advance, and receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 7 days in advance of reservation start date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

Great location and a nice condo. There were only a few less than perfect things, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfy, the floors were pretty creaky. The shower only had an overhead, no hand held piece which was hard with kids after the beach. But really, those are nit-picky things that I think were fair trade offs for the excellent location. Right near all the shops and restaurants- not even a block from a delicious cafe for breakfast. Easy parking, short drive to either Holland State Park or Tunnel Park beaches. Be prepared for the three floors up with no elevators. It wasn’t too bad, but something to keep in mind if you plan to go in and out a lot throughout the day. This place was exactly what we were needed for a few nights in Holland.

Overall, the location is the best part of this property. It was somewhat clean, but the musty smell was not a great welcoming. After getting some fresh air in there by opening the windows, it did help a little bit. The building itself is very cool and older, however we weren't prepared for the extremely uneven floors (sit on the toilet and you'll understand). The rooms were very basic, clean, and no frills. The shower was extremely finicky and took a long time to work. The kitchen was nice and the property was a convenient location close to all of the shops. Be prepared to walk up 3 flights of steep stairs (we were not) with all of your luggage. Also, don't forget to mention you need more than one parking pass even if you put 5 adults into the booking. That was an easy fix, but they told us it would have cost us more which doesn't make sense considering the lot was wide open at night when we needed the passes. Just be aware of what you are getting for your money.
