The house was lovely, just like the pictures but there were a few supplies lacking / or bare minimum that would have made this visit an excellent rating. First of all, there was just one desk fan to help cool down the two bedrooms facing the street . These rooms were south facing and got very hot - even with the blinds pulled down all day and windows open at night. There should have been Two fans - one for each bedroom and they should be pedestal fans as there is no tables or shelf to put a desk fan on. We are a family of four, so one of us had to sleep in a very hot bedroom for 4 nights.The Kitchen was also low on supplies like dishwasher detergent pods - there were only two supplied even though our stay was for 4 nights . This could have worked if we had more cutlery , dishes, glasses to use. Also no extra toilet paper supplied. These small things would have made our stay at your VRBO more enjoyable and would have earned a higher rating.

We rented this home in Halifax during a very difficult time for our family following a sudden loss. Family members came from across Canada, and this house provided the space and comfort we needed to gather, support one another, and share memories. It was clean, welcoming, and well-equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. We are grateful to the hosts for providing such a warm and comfortable place during a very tragic time. Thank you
