Welcome to Treehouse Waterview! — a cozy and quirky appointed 3-bedroom home set right on the water’s edge in the tranquil enclave of Caves Beach. The master bedroom and upstairs lounge enjoy breathtaking 180-degree views across the lake, creating a truly special backdrop from the home. The remaining bedrooms look out over peaceful native trees and hinterland, offering a calm, leafy outlook and added privacy.

With a prized northerly aspect, the home is filled with natural light and cooled by refreshing coastal breezes, making it an ideal retreat for couples, families, or small groups looking to unwind and embrace everything Lake Macquarie has to offer.

To help us look after the property and our neighbours, we kindly ask that only registered guests stay at the home. If you’re planning to have visitors or additional guests, please let us know in advance so we can confirm approval. Visitors may be welcome for short periods with written consent. Additional fees may apply if unapproved guests are present. Further actions may be taken if unapproved guests are found on property during your booking.

Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2 pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.

Pets: Can be considered however please note this property is not fully fences therefore currently not ideal for off leash.

Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay.
Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO.

Respectful Stays (The Not-So-Fine Print)

We want you to fully enjoy your time away, and we also ask that guests help us look after the home and the surrounding community.
To keep things comfortable for everyone:
This is a no-party property, the Quiet hours are between 9pm and 8am. The number of guests at property must not exceed the booking without written permission, the maximum number of guests allowed at the property is 12 including children.

These guidelines help ensure Weekenda homes stay available for future escapes (yours included) and that local neighbours remain welcoming to visitors.

Cameras

For the safety of our guests, the property, and the surrounding community, external security cameras may be installed at this property. These cameras are positioned only in external access areas (such as entry points) and are used solely for security and neighbourhood impact monitoring. All cameras are installed and operated in accordance with local regulations. Additional external cameras may be installed by the owner from time to time if required.

Guest Registration / ID Check: Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for a photo ID i.e. a copy of your driver's Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guest's names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.

Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'

Was a great place to stay Amazing views even got to see a couple of whales swimming by. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Fabulous property. Great views of the surrounding area and out to sea. The house is located on a high position. Its a large well equiped house, with good privacy if you need it. I loved the backyard view of the rainforest.Easy drive to local beach and shops. Great comunications with the owner. Would book again.
