Really great property, had a wonderful weekend. Only thing I would note is that the lake is more suited for on the water activity vs swimming as its a living lake with waterfowl, lily pads and algae. It was beautiful and perfect for peaceful paddleboarding but we didn't risk a dip with the algae. Might be a different story at other times of the year, I dont know that much about algae blooms.

Our stay at the Wells' residence was awesome. Everything was as it appeared in the pictures. The view was breathtaking. The hosts were GREAT. I would recommend staying there. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

My extended family, who flew in from all over the US, stayed here over a long weekend. They were enchanted with the house, the lake, and the amazing views. They spent most of the time watching the local eagles perch on promotories in the lake. The house was large and clean with several places to hang out. The beds were great and the area was quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils and all you need to cook. There are kayaks that the family took out on the very still and quiet lake. The house is located outside of Olympia but was an easy 12 minutes into Tumwater and Lacey and slightly more to Olympia. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this beautiful place again.

The home was an excellent place for the ten of us. We rate it ten out of ten. The four kayaks and the paddle boat were a big hit; all of us enjoyed time on the lake. We found the home to be exceptionally well equipped with provisions like spices, pots and pans, games and well-functioning appliances. The views of the lake from the porch and the living room are lovely and we all took advantage of them. The kids liked playing corn hole, air hockey, pool and video games. Although some mentioned the risk of algae in the lake water, several of us used the paddle boat to get to the middle of the lake where we swam and found the lake was very clear at that location. We made frequent trips of about ten miles into Lacey WA to shop at Safeway, play tennis and basketball at Wonderwood park, disc golf elsewhere and to Miso for excellent and reasonably priced Korean noodle bowls, Safura for good Mediterranean dishes and Mod Pizza. One day, we took a side trip and spent the day exploring the massive Mount Ranier. It was a great five-day vacation.

Everything was great! The rooms were perfect for our group and they had plenty of things for the kids. Billiards, air hockey, kayaks etc. Loved the Atari, that was a trip down memory lane. The host was amazing,we will add this to our fav list.
