For anyone looking for a "budget-conscious" Beach-Side Studio, this is for you! This 1950's apartment building is located steps away from the beach access with a home located in between the apartment building and beach.

If you are traveling light (with no need for an over- abundance of space) this Beach Side Studio is just perfect. We are located just steps away from the beach, with no streets to cross.

The Studio has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a small eat-in kitchen and a full bathroom.

The bathroom has a combined bathtub and shower with a hand held shower head. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. We have a full size refrigerator and a gas stove.

Off street parking is just outside your front door.

We also welcome longer term stays in this efficiency apartment.

I've allowed for 3 guests just in case a couple may have an infant or baby. But there is only one Queen Size Bed for sleeping, no other bedding arrangements would work in this studio; it is ideal for a maximum of 2 adults.
Again, the beach is a short one minute walk with no streets to cross!

We are also pet friendly (with a $49 fee)

This Studio Apartment is one of 6 units in this building. The building was built in the 1950's, and as such, many of the the windows, systems and appliances are dated.

We are proud to offer a beach side apartment that is clean, comfortable and provides all the necessities - Smart TV, WiFi, Full Kitchen, Bathroom and best of all - the beaches of the Chesapeake Bay!

We have off-street parking and are close to a brewery/BBQ restaurant that is walking distance. Fishing from the surf is excellent, and the beach is also pet-friendly.

These are older units and do show some of their age as many of the vintage gas stoves remain, as well as the cast iron tubs and sinks. Some of these tubs and sinks may have a bit of rust, but all has been fastidiously cleaned for your use! We are proud to be able to offer such low-priced beach side studios, but we also want our guests to have the proper expectations. These units are clean, but will show "age" with some rust stains on the bathroom appliances, windows that may not open and close properly, flooring that is a bit worn, cracks in the plaster on the walls and/or ceilings, and appliances that show their age; if you will find these issues bothersome, please look for a more contemporary place for your vacation.

If, however, you prioritize being conveniently located to the beach where you plan on enjoying the majority of your vacation, we believe you will be happy here. You will also enjoy a clean, comfortable bed, a large Smart TV (use your own internet streaming), cool air conditioning (window units), WiFi and the personal comfort of being able to bring your furry friend with you!

Check in was ok. The hot water heater was in the kitchen with exposed wire. The table was uneven it would rock up and down. There’s also mold or grease on the ceiling in the kitchen. a spaghetti noodle on the wall. Floor was not clean there was sand on the floor. Bathroom window would not lock. The best part was having a big TV to watch. We made due for 2 nights.

Cramped and Sad

The room is steps from the beach, true. The path to the beach is through other's property and is littered with their stuff. The room is also steps from a busy road. The room is very small, and while cooled by the window unit, is still humid and very much like a basement. There is no way to get fresh air into the space. The kitchen is hot because the refrigerator and hot water heater(!) take up much of the space and all of the air in the room. Both large appliances are plugged into the wall inches from the gas top(!) range. I felt unsafe using the range so close to an outlet and water heater. The kitchen sink was clogged. We ended up leaving after two hours. It only took us that long to decide to leave because we had spent so much money to stay there and we knew we would not get a refund. In the end we could not complete our stay there; it was too cramped and sad.

This property fit the description exactly! It’s just steps from the beach in a good area with a grocery store minutes away and a convenience store across the street. It was advertised as dated, but everything worked great and made for a great weekend! The hosts were responsive and kind, 10/10 would book with them again!

Good stay but

It was alot smaller then what was posted. We made do. The refrigerator didn't work the whole time. The freezer felt like the refrigerator. Lost some food. The shower needs to be replaced its old and metal and the nozzles fell off. But like I said we made do with what we had. As we still had a great time. We were only there to sleep and eat.

Property was small and a little sketchy, but adequate for my needs.

Initially I was given access to a property next door which was considerably nicer, and had an awkward exchange with the people who actually were supposed to be in there. Good location, easy access to beach, close to restaurants and grocery stores, but very little privacy once you step outside. The bathtub was very rusty under the faucet. The cold water pressure in the bathroom sink was very poor. I was not comfortable using the oven or stove. The oven handle was broken, and the stove was gas without proper ventilation. The refrigerator was very loud, and set up with the opening against the wall. Smart TV with no cable, so you have to have your own smart TV accesses.

Nice, convenient pet-friendly beach stay

We really enjoyed our time with our dogs. The apartment is small but has everything you need to be comfortable. We used the boarded public beach access (literally a half block away right at the intersection) instead of crossing over the dune. This made it much easier to carry our belongings and get to the beach with our pets. The beach in this area was quiet, clean, and not crowded at all! A great getaway for me and my husband.

Weekend get away. May not return.

The unit is very close to the beach, but the path to get there is difficult for anyone who is not able to traverse a Large soft sandy hill or anyone with disabilities. The unit is older and shows its age. The kitchen was not fully stocked as noted, so don’t expect to cook a large family feast for sure. We had some plumbing drainage issues is the tub and the kitchen sink. If beach access and the bare necessities is all you need or are looking for then this unit will serve the purpose. Overall we made it all work and enjoyed our getaway. Just being honest.

Chesapeake Bay Stay

It was a nice weekend get away! Very clean and pet friendly. The bathtub’s paint is peeling and there is discoloration to the tub. I would not recommend if you have a baby. There is what seems to be a pool table located in the residence above the studio. Also the residence is not Ocean/ bay front, you have to go between two peoples homes in order to get to the non public entrance to the beach. There are not stairs or a ramp to get you to the beach. It is a semi steep hill. There is not an outdoor spray area to spray the sand off. The owners are very nice and accommodating. They answer within minutes of messaging them!

All about location and budget

Great place to stay by the beach. George and a Kathy are super responsive. The apartment has everything. I looked for a microwave and I couldn’t find so I asked Kathy and the next morning a brand new microwave was there for us. Small place and inexpensive so don’t expect a lot of. Very simple but pleasant.

This property is accurately described as Rustic with a bit of nostalgia and history. It was built in 1927. Some appliances, windows and plumbing are a bit older, but all works as designed.

What makes this property unique

We are almost beach front, but there is a house between us and the beach. There are no streets to cross. We are pet friendly and have a beach access just outside your door. Parking is available anywhere around the perimeter of the building.
