Cottage was clean and well stocked with all needed amenities. It was conveniently located a few blocks from the beach and in a nice area that was great for walking the dog. We enjoyed our stay here and would happily return again!

Perfect family thanksgiving get together!

Quaint, clean, fully equipped kitchen just a block and a half to the beach in one direction and half a block to a park with a fishing pier in the other.

This place worked very well for our trip as we last minute had to travel with our 2 small dogs. We were traveling to the area for a concert at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater which was about 30 minutes away. Place was of adequate size and had a fenced in yard for the dogs which was nice. I would just suggest stocking with some staples that were missing - pot holders, wine opener, include a hand towel for each guest (vs. having to share one).

Concert getaway

The stay was great! Glad we could bring our dogs and walk with them to the beach. It was about 20-30minutes away from Veterans United Amphitheater which is part of the reason we traveled down to Norfolk.

Overall, a really cute, convenient location and we didn’t enjoy our stay. A few recommendations would be more attention to detail with cleanliness. Fans were extremely dusty, floors, baseboards need a good cleaning and the shower head is pretty gross where the water comes out. I was also unable to get into the shed to use the washer and dryer bc the lockbox is impossible to open. I had planned to sweep up some sand but the broom looks like it has been mauled by a beat and was unusable. Lastly, there is a coffee station which is great but some of the stuff labeled in the organizer was not stocked. I realize that’s a courtesy by the host but if the label is there, maybe stocking it in between guests should be done. Small detail but I think they matter. Like I said, very cute and would stay here again. I just think feedback like that is important and as a host, I would want to know those things.
