This house was exactly what we were hoping to find for our large family summer reunion. 6 of the grandchildren stayed in the bunk room comfortably including a 6 ft 16 yo. The dock on the canal kept the kids busy all week crabbing. We watched a nest of herons feed in a tree across the canal. The location is quiet and not a terrible walk to the beach. We worried about the number of chairs available so we brought some extras. There were plenty but we were a group of 15. We ate on the outside table for all but one night. Very convenient for our seafood extravaganza night. The bikes were nice. Just short one youth bike. Canoes were great. There is a parking pass so we packed the truck with the chairs and beach needs each day. Sunsets on the rooftop were a highlight of the evenings. The desk in the office bedroom is large enough for jigsaw puzzles and the lighting is good. The screened in porch was my favorite place for breakfast and just to chill in a calm setting. The outside shower was nice but not enclosed. This place had plenty of space to spread out for a large group.
