We stayed at this house for nine days as far as the house goes. It is in a great location and the layout is very comfortable for a family of six which is what we had. The pool was very nice and clean and they had several pool toys, which we enjoyed !The boat dock and floating dock was very nice and we used it with our pontoon boat. The only issue I had although I live near the house so I know and understand that it was flooded two years ago so I take that under the consideration, but I don't know if the house was really ready to start renting out a few things. The house was missing that has always been and that you need in a home. There was no rugs on the floor, including in the bathroom front door or back door coming from the pool, there was no broom or vacuum to cleaner or anything and we know how Florida sand is no gallon or half a gallon containers to make a tea or Kool-Aid or anything like that no toilet paper or towel holders in the bathroom like I said I'm sure they just have not got everything done but for the price that we paid I did expect it to be a little more furnished than what it was.

The house itself was beautiful, spacious, and well equipped, with plenty of kitchen items and small appliances for everything our group needed. However, there were a few issues that affected our stay.The check-in process was frustrating and unclear. I sent several emails asking about early check-in and made it clear that we were willing to pay an additional fee, but received no response. I also called on the day of arrival and received no answer. We did not receive the check-in instructions until approximately one hour before check-in—much later than the 24-hour notice we typically receive—and ultimately had to involve VRBO.The pool lanai was unfinished raw concrete, which left our feet dirty and caused dirt to be tracked into the house. The air conditioning in the front bedroom also did not work particularly well, and the refrigerator’s ice maker could not keep up with normal use, so we had to purchase ice.Overall, the home was lovely and had many thoughtful amenities, but clearer communication and attention to these maintenance issues would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

Our team has reviewed what occurred and is working to improve communication for these requests moving forward. Regarding the pool area, the gravel section is part of a French drain designed to manage water runoff. Rugs and runners have since been added to help reduce tracking into the home. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the A/C and ice maker and have shared those items with our team for review. Thank you again for helping us identify ways to improve future stays.
