The South Loop is such a dynamic mix of attractions and histories that the neighborhood tends to be seen as many different things to many different people. Consider the assorted areas that comprise the South Loop:
Much of its eastern edge is encompassed by the Museum Campus, an impressive collection of cultural treasures that includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium. This campus sits on scenic lakefront parklands that are an extension of Grant Park. With 319 acres of green space and recreational fields, Grant Park is known as `Chicago`s front yard` to locals and also plays host to major city events such as Taste of Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival and Lollapalooza.
Jutting out further into Lake Michigan is Northerly Island, a peninsula sought out by nature lovers, while along the southern edge the sports fans know Soldier Field as the stadium for the beloved Chicago Bears football team. Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area.
And yet there are even more facets to the South Loop. History buffs point out the Motor Row District along South Michigan Avenue and nearby Prairie Avenue District, the `Millionaire`s Row` that was lined with mansions belonging to Chicago`s most wealthy elite during the end of the 19th century.
In the adjacent Printer`s Row neighborhood, urban loft condos now fill the commercial spaces in what was formerly the center of the Midwest`s publishing industry. Connections to this past are still seen within the venerable, independent book store and annual summer lit fest here. But business professionals and students have brought new life and redevelopment (though the vibe remains mellow), filling the restaurants, music clubs, smaller theaters and museums that have all established themselves in the community.
You are only a 1 block away from the Green, Red, and Orange `L` subway stop, which gets you virtually everywhere in the City. You are also a short walk to a number of restaurants and attractions

Great communication with the host. Location is perfect for visiting attractions near the South Loop. There are great food choices in walking distance and the train is right there. Connot recommend this location enough.
Highly recommend this property when visiting Chicago, especially South Loop and museums/Grant Park area. The building is safe and the communication with the owners was top notch. It is a great value too!
This apartment was perfect for our stay in Chicago. It was close to everything we wanted to see and had access to bunches of restaurants and such within walking distance.

The place was so inviting and the view was spectacular of the city. My teenage boys loved everything except the quiet hours (haha) - there are plenty of places to eat within a block or two. We were able to easily catch the train to all the places we went. Definitely enjoyed the stay.
Location, location, location! This was a well furnished, clean place with a great view. The beds were soft amd large. Everything you want for a weekend getaway.
Stay was nice being is museum district easy to get to most places . Easy to contact . Property is clean and have everything which is needed price is right
Very clean, well managed, and safe. A wonderful experience very friendly staff and manager was excellent with communication. No issues at all. Will definitely be returning.
The apartment was spotlessly clean. The two bedrooms were large and had big wardrobes. The kitchen was well equipped. The views were fantastic and the situation could not have been better. Highly recommended.
Nice clean property with great views on a high floor. Close to grant park, field, shedd, adler, lakeshore drive and about 20 min walk to millenium park. Parking garage attached to the property. Parking ticket is good for one entry/exit only so you can leave your car overnight, or leave it parked in the garage for the duration of your stay and take the train to the city - station is only a block away.We had a defective toaster during our stay and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating - overnight shipped a new one to the apartment. Would absolutely stay here again.
We really liked this apartment for our group of three. This apartment was very nice (a little worn) and clean. The beds were comfortable, with nice bedding and the kitchen had what we needed. We’re seniors and we all felt safe going out, even in the evenings. The neighborhood is very residential. The staff and even the tenants were very friendly and helpful. We walked everywhere-good four days!
This property provided everything we needed for an amazing time in Chicago! The location was perfect walking distance to Grant Park for Lollapalooza, and the hosts were highly attentive and kind throughout the entire experience. I would absolutely rebook with them if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you, JW and Tonya for everything!
Great spot at the south end of Grant Park, just 1 1/2 short blocks from 3 lines of the "L". The only other trip we've taken without a rental car was Paris. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed. The curved corner window afforded a view of Grant Park and a wonderful nighttime street scene from the 25th floor.
I'd recommend breakfast at the "Yolk" restaurant just a block up Michigan Ave.

Good Location but Needs Repair
Just dingy and not in good shape. Holes in walls repaired poorly and wires for TV sticking out everywhere. Kitchen not well stocked. Only one key fob for access.
Kitchen was equipped with all the necessities, including a kuerig with pods, sweeteners and creamer. Overall could have been cleaner and unit and overall building is a bit dated, but great views from the 25th floor of Navy pier and overlooking Michigan Ave. Great location! We were a group of two couples. Pretty inconvenient they only provide one key with fob. Both of which required to go anywhere in the building or to leave the building. Also, 50 per hour is a bit excessive for early checkin or late checkout. Overall it was a good spot. A bit overpriced but that was more due to it being the Chicago Marathon. A normal weekend I feel the price was about right for a place in this location.
The apt is nice and large, especially the bedrooms. We were looking for two Master en suites and they delivered. Nice beds. Good options on the TV.
A bit small on the dining room (only seating for 4) and counter seating. The kitchen was fine but the cooking pans were very old.
Great to walk outside and the bus stop was right there and the train station was just one street down.
We enjoyed our time very much in Chicago!
My family and I stayed for a long weekend. The property was perfect for us! Beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. It was close to sites and transportation! The host was very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again!!
