Good stay, but when you only need somewhere to sleep and shower for a weekend this could be viewed as pricey considering we found hotels in the area less expensive total costs for similar amenities

Kevin booked this LARGE 3 bedroom/5 bed apartment with a full kitchen, living room, bath, and a washer/dryer for him and his significant other. If price was an issue, then why did he book it?
Very clean, charming place to stay in Seneca Falls. Plenty of room for a family of 5. I got there on a very hot day and the a/c units were keeping the rental cool. We all slept well. Will try to stay here next year!
Thought of everything! Very comfortable place, conveniently located to places in the Finger Lakes that we were interested in seeing. Lots of extras provided -- would definitely recommend!
We were visiting Seneca Falls for the Women's Rights Convention and attendant historic sites. It is a half mile pleasant walk to the Visitor Center and downtown. The neighborhood is fine but some of the houses are in need of some help! Nice clawfoot tub, big back yard, slept well.
The property was as stated. It was clean. The only thing that may be a concern for someone is that there are a lot of stairs that you have to carry your things up to the apartment. So if you are elderly or have bad knees it may be hard to get up and down the stairs.
My wife and I went to Seneca Falls to explore the Finger Lakes. This was a good location - and the house was walking distance to downtown - if it did not rain. Which it did. All weekend. Nevertheless, we were out and about for full days - just came back to hang out at the end of the day and sleep. Ate breakfast at the kitchen table there. Everything worked well. Easy in and out. Easy parking. Hosts very responsive. A good experience all around.
Our needs were more than met by this property but two things stand out that prevent a 5 star rating.
While we realize this is an historic building, the old wallpaper was peeling in spots and was not in good condition, especially in the kitchen .
We appreciate the idea of having a claw foot tub in an old property, but it may be hard for some people to access it.
The kitchen was well equipped as was the bathroom and if you were staying longer the in-unit washer and dryer would be a big plus.

We do not hide anything about our rentals (including what type of tub is in the rental) from our potential guests. Yes, this rental is historic (this kitchen is over 70 yrs old, the building 170 yrs old) and we want to keep it original, as much as possible. It’s unfortunate that Walter felt that some minor peeling of some wallpaper and having the original clawfoot tub was worth a loss of 1 star. If we had known that Walter and/or his guest were going to have issues using the tub, we would have suggested a more accessible tub in one of our other rentals, yet he still rented the space. We also wish that his attention to detail extended to our check-in time, as he entered our property early without permission.
The apartment was cute and cozy. It had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was very clean and super convenient to where we needed to be for our family events.
We are a family of 5 that includes teens and tweens who were in the area for the It's a Wonderful Life Festival. The house was close enough to the center of town so we could walk to everything. The kitchen had everything you would need, including cooking oil. The furniture and beds were extremely comfortable (even the futon), and we all loved the old charm of the property. Owners were responsive throughout the whole process. We would highly recommend staying at The Keuka apartment in Red Brick Manor.
We came to the Finger Lakes to do some planning for my wedding next year. This was a really great place to stay- the house is in a great location and we enjoyed walking to the downtown area to check out local restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in the future
The price of the hotel is reasonable in this area. It provides 2-3 bedrooms (one room is an office with a futon for two, small bedroom currently has two single beds), 1 bathroom, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. The host provides everything you need during the stay, revealing T&J's hospitality to the guests. Location is great, close to Syracuse, Rochester, Cornell, all the Fingerlake state parks, and wineries.
