Very beautiful five bedroom home with a hot tub and located within minutes to Seven Springs, Hidden valley and Laurel Summit resorts. This is a private home that’s has everything you could want and more and surrounded in a beautiful wooded setting.

Very beautiful five bedroom home with a hot tub and located within minutes to Seven Springs, Hidden valley and Laurel Summit resorts. This home has everything you could want and surrounded in a beautiful wooded setting.
It is located on a private 1 and 1/2 acres. This is a unique opportunity to experience the Laurel Mountains with the privacy of your own mountain rental home. You will find this home to be a beautiful rental at a reasonable price. There are two very large decks to relax on with enjoying the atmosphere. One is located just off the kitchen with the grill and seating. The other deck is off the front that has a beautiful mountain view with a 6 person hot tub.
The Great room has cathedral ceilings, a ceiling fan, and plenty of space for the guests. There are plenty of windows to let in the natural light and beautiful wooded scenery. All of the ceilings in there are natural oak.
There is a stone fireplace and all of the wood is provided for guests. There is a flat screen television with a large video library. We have added a unique and natural beautiful bar/table along with seating for 8 guests to dine. The kitchen includes all major appliances and cooking utensils.

The home has 5 private bedrooms. The master bedroom (#1) is located on the main level just off the kitchen and great room. There is a large pillow top queen bed. There are two large private loft bedrooms (#2 and #3). Each bedroom has double beds and dresser. One has a television and DVD player. Step out of the bedrooms and you have a walkway that overlooks the great room. There is also a desk area there so you can read, work, or view of the great room.
In the downstairs area there is a common area, laundry room, and two additional (#4 and #5) bedrooms. The #4 bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, and large closet. The #5 bedroom has a king bed, dresser, and television with DVD player. Also in the basement is another common area with electric fireplace and dart board. There is a futon bed that provides additional sleeping accommodations.
There are 1 and 1/2 baths. The master bath has a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, and hair dryer. The huge hot water tank has unlimited hot water, so many guests can shower without running out. The second contains toilet, sink, and mirror.

Dumpsters full on arrival. No where to put our garbage. No trash bags. Had to ration toilet paper. What is the point of two bathrooms twenty feet apart on the first floor. Had to have a 70 year old man sleep on the couch because we had three handicapped people who could not do stairs in the middle of the night. Also had a security camera pointed at the main area where we congregated. They invaded our privacy. As soon as we covered it the knew even who did it and with what. Not so good

Thank you for your review, Elizaberh. We tried to reach out to you during your stay, but no response. Good communication is key to a successful stay. There were additional garbage bags behind the empty box. We typically have four complementary toilet paper rolls in each restroom. The rental before you did have an obscene amount of garbage. Apologies we didn’t realize it was so full but it seems like you guys managed. We do have a description in the layout of the cabin. However, we were not notified of handicap people staying at the rental or we would’ve steered you away because there is multiple stairs and levels to this cabin. Yes, we do advertise that we have a security camera on the front porch. This helps protect the cabin when renters are not there from animals or unwanted intruders. It’s just for safety and to check in on our car rental rental to make sure all is well. We could give two cahoots about your conversations. Again, a successful rental deserves good communication between the guest and the house. If you had any concerns during your stay, you could’ve reached out. We did politely ask you to remove the garbage bag that you had placed upon the security camera. This garbage bag set off the camera resulting in a dead battery anyways. You did over chemicalized the hot tub when you could’ve simply reached out and we could’ve sent someone over or guided you through the process. But we had to drain the hot tub due to your inexperience.

Plenty of room for everyone to stay. The firewood was all slabwood that was somewhat wet so we had a hard time building a fire, but other than that great visit. Close to Ohiopyle. Secluded on a back road. The dogs enjoyed it as well.

Family Getaway

The cabin was great! It was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday! It was very comfy and spacious. The beds were comfortable. We loved the large wooden bar to sit and play games. The cabin was close to different golf courses which was perfect for my husband.

Secluded and great location for foliage

We had a great time. The house could be updated a bit but everything is in working condition and it provides almost anything you might need. I wish the deposit would be smaller and returned faster.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time at this cabin. Since your stay, we have already made upgrades to this cabin! New carpeting, new bedroom furniture and new living room furniture. We are also in the process of new main lever flooring and a new flat screen television. When selecting Security deposits or Refundable Damage deposit, you can request to have alter before booking your reservation. Your refund was returned 2 weeks after your departure date, which is standard. You had great communications with us and left the cabin in great condition. Great guests. New Year 2024 cabin

We enjoyed the house. I gave 4 stars due to Great Room being somewhat smaller than we thought by viewing pictures. Also, kitchen was very small, but had amenites needed to cook. All in all, we had a great time. The house did workout for a weekend for our group. And the fact that most of group skied during the day at 7 Springs. Which is about 30 minutes from house.

The downstairs rooms smell of mold and mildew. The kitchen is extremely small. The hot tub water was cloudy and didn’t seem clean. Both bathrooms are on the main level, which was tricky for the kids in the middle of the night if they were sleeping upstairs or downstairs.

Served its purpose

The house was perfect for a ski weekend with friends, which is exactly what we were using it for. The communal space wasn't very large, but we were okay with being close! There were a few things that could have been slightly better.The house was freezing when we walked in and took about 2 hours to warm up with both the baseboard heat and fireplace. The downstairs bedroom area was very musty. The water in the back bathroom had little to no water pressure. And there was no wifi, which normally wouldnt be a problem but for the area a few of us didnt have cell service. Other than that, the weekend was fantastic and the cabin served its purpose.
