Step outside to hiking/biking trails and drive just 8 minutes to town & Heavenly!

Return home to a designer furnished 2800sq ft Tahoe modern home complete with two living room areas, infrared sauna, foosball, attached 2-car garage, Tempurpedic® beds & lovely amenities all around.

We spend the summers here, so the setup is more of a home feel than your standard rental (nicer furniture, kid proof, less "renter traffic" as we rarely rent this place)

Ideal for multi-family vacations and executive business travelers, not suited for parties or large events in this peaceful neighborhood setting.

Fantastic property with every amenity you could want for a large group stay. Pantry full of supplies and essentials including a stand mixer. Great layout and deck with awesome gas pellet grill. We plan on coming back with our group of 10! Only negative was no cable/satellite TV for live sports so we missed some NBA playoff games.

Really comfortable well appointed home!

This is a really beautiful newly built home with luxurious features like a five burner, gas, cooktop, freestanding, soaking tub, and a game table on both levels. Everyone enjoyed themselves and was comfortable. Thank you for a great day! There were nice touches like amenities for the soaking tub and some really fancy coughing, making equipment that we felt too intimidated to use but admired :-)

Best modern home in Lake Tahoe

Close to everything BUT far away enough for peace and quiet. This updated modern home was excellent. Chef style kitchen with all the accessories needed to cook great meals. Pellet grill was most excellent..House has plenty of space and the downstairs is just as comfy as the upstairs. Multiple decks for some quiet time and great back droop to relax and have a drink or a morning coffee. We will stay again when we come back to relax in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Owner was very professional and the house was clean and ready to be enjoyed!!

A beautiful ski house great in summer

The house is really beautiful - better than the pictures. Great for families. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs, no closet or place to hang clothes in the master suite, and no air conditioning.

Absolute delight

A Beautiful and Functional House in the Forest

We all totally enjoyed staying in this really beautiful house. First, Steve was highly responsive and generously let us check in early so that we could attend to important work zoom calls. Second, the house is just simply lovely, with well chosen and highly functional decor, each room thoughtfully appointed. The kitchen was perfect and completely equipped with generous selection of cookware. The pantry has a large assortment of food, oil, herbs, different flours and more in case you had not remembered to bring something. The rooms were all had very comfortable beds, multiple decks with fantastic barbecue and there were multiple large screen televisions with sonos and a room with a pool table. The house is designed on two floors with two bedrooms on each floor so there was a lot of privacy. One room functioned also as a business office with twin screens to hook up your computer. The internet was fast and all four of us were able to conduct zoom conferences. Finally, the house is located in a really pleasant neighborhood that is surround by a forest with a multitude of trails. We completely enjoyed our stay and would say this is a perfect house for two families or one larger family.

Loved everything!

We didn't realize the property was that new until we searched for directions which resulted in google maps showing us an empty lot. We came with two other families with a total of 5 kids ranging from 2-3 years old. There was more than enough space for us to be all comfortable. With the kids involved, we had a lot of requests as far as check-in/out times and moving furniture to create more space. Steve was very accommodating and even moved the furniture for us before our stay! The house was perfect and we can't wait to come back.

Amazing!!!!!

This was quite the gem of a house, I'm so happy we found it! It's nice to visit Tahoe and come back to a place where everything is new. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, exactly what we needed. Steve was a terrific host and did an amazing job furnishing the house, very cool and original art throughout. We're hoping to come back again this winter!

I am a long time Tahoe with a wife, daughter and a couple Yorkies. I love to ski and mountain bike, can point you in the right direction if that's your thing. When I stay in other peoples homes I treat them with respect, all I ask is that you do the same during your stay.

Why they chose this property

This home is in a secluded forest setting and has access to all of the trails here in South Lake from the house.

I was also looking for a modern and open living home and this new house has a great open floor plan (1800 square foot living room/open kitchen, for example). This place checked all the boxes for our summers & also some winter trips to Tahoe.

What makes this property unique

Access to the hiking/biking trail system from the house was a big plus for me. I also like the forest service lots surrounding the house, they create a nice private setting on the decks.

The furnishings in this house are my own, a lot of the art/furniture is custom made with quality materials (black walnut wood, Joybird sofa, custom art featuring Tahoe locations, etc.). I didn't fill the place with lower quality 'rental' furniture. There is an ambiance that the art and furniture create, which I'm sure you'll appreciate.
