The cabin is amazing and the view is best part! The hotub is great. Along with having a fire pit, bring plenty of fire wood. Will definitely be booking this cabin again!
We had a great 3 day stay at the Chipmunk Cottage. Everything was clean and just as described. The view was gorgeous, the hot tub was wonderful, and it was just a short 25 minute drive into Hochatown. Loved the cottage!
Just the right amount of distance from anyone or anything! Clean, tidy, just what you need for a get away!
Billy is a top guy, happy to help with questions… can’t wait to go back!
We had an amazing time in the Chipmunk Cottage! Billy provided so many amenities along with a great ambiance with the cabin and then nature took the rest with the views off the porch! Definitely plan to go again when able!
We love staying in Billy’s cabins. He is a wonderful host and always easy to get in touch with if need be. Our 4th trip to Billy’s cabins and we will be back.
The view from the back porch is phenomenal, perfect little cozy cabin for two and Billy is always on standby and quick at responding if you have any questions.
This cabin is located right off the main road so it was easy access which was a plus for us. It is small but it felt spacious inside and was super cozy! Once you open the back door you'll see the beautiful view where you can see for miles. Great hot tub, comfy bed and super clean! Lots of little touches that make you feel right at home. The host was super helpful, and informative and made us feel safe with the potential weather that was going to be coming during the stay so that was very nice! Overall highly recommend you book your stay here.
This cabin is perfect for couples to unplug and connect in nature. The sunrises are spectacular and the stars at night are amazing! Unwind at the end of the day in the hot tub or hammock and enjoy the view.
The cabin is spotless and decorated very nicely. They have paid attention to detail. Be sure to grab your groceries on the way in.
Far from all the turmoil of a busy world
There's a cabin on a mountain side. Cabin was clean, and inviting.
Peaceful, quiet, beautiful scenery! And the sunsets and sunrises are amazing. Everything you need is already there. Billy is awesome! he literally goes out of his way. Check out his other cabins also. Hillbilly and lovers lair are my favorite. We will be back! Hopefully for a longer stay.
A year before the eclipse I started looking for a cabin to rent somewhere near Broken Bow (we have stayed in the area twice before). Admittedly, Chipmunk Cottage wouldn't have been my first choice but with vacancies filling up fast I decided to give it a go. Boy am I ever glad I did. Billy is a terrific host. He was so helpful, answering all my questions before arrival, giving us great advice on places to eat and he checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Such a sweet man! He even had farm fresh eggs available and taught me about cleaning them (they were yummy). The cabin is small and cozy but has the basics you need in a home away from home. The bed was super comfortable, so we got some much-needed rest here. I wasn't expecting WiFi or cell service and packed for such, but WiFi was provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub nearly every day for the 8 days we stayed. Robes are provided and they were much appreciated. Previous reviews commented that the highway detracted from the feeling of isolation, but we appreciated the accessibility of not having to navigate dirt, gravel or mud roads to get to the cabin. It is north of Hochatown and we liked the location, in that it's not in the middle of the touristy area but close enough to enjoy it when we wanted. Billy has several cabins at this location and we would love to come back and try another of them sometime!
