Had a Golf retreat weekend in VT and this was a great spot! From beautiful Mountain View’s to the quiet late nights around the fire pit, this home was ideal for getting away from the busy city life and having a few days to unwind. We will absolutely be back!
My friends and I stayed at Samantha's house to ski and Okemo and loved every minute of it! We were impressed that the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and enjoyed the views off the balcony.
We had a group of 8 males stay at the property for a brewery tour weekend. Great views and plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. Check in was a very easy process and Samantha communicated great with us about any questions prior to arrival. We had brought plenty of yard games to play, but to save you the trouble, Samantha already had plenty of games there for us to use, (cornhole, ladder ball, lawn darts etc...) This summer has been unseasonably hot, so guessing this would not be a problem 95% of the time. However as a heads up, there is no air conditioning in the house. We had 2 rotating fans for 2 of the bedrooms but could have definitely used more fans for the kitchen, downstairs living room and downstairs bedrooms. In regards to the pond, I am not sure if this is a season thing again as we were there early August, However we attempted to go down to the pond one day and the bugs were out of control. Didn't even make it into the water before they were attacking us and decided to head back up to the house. Nothing to do with the host, obviously can't control wildlife, but just as a heads up.
In regards to our brewery tour, I would highly suggest using Tri State Transportation. They drove us around from 1-7 and we visited Long Trail, Harpoon/Silo (same location) and Outer Limits. Each brewery was about 30-40 minutes away from each other so while you will be in the van for close to 2 hours, they do allow alcohol on board so makes the time go by quick.
Overall a 9.5/10 and would definitely recommended staying at Samantha property if you are looking for a secluded house to unwind.
Communication was very good and I was location is remote but very accesible. It was exactly what we were looking for. I found the house is excellently organized to host any size party. The views in the propertyare breathtaking. In Short, i would not hesitateto return. Thank you

The property was a perfect spot for our group of family and friends to reconnect and enjoy ourselves after a very long time due to COVID. It was conveniently located between Killington and Okemo for a ski day, while secluded with a beautiful view, hot tub, and ample spaces to entertain ourselves. Samantha was a wonderful host, being quick to respond to questions and relaying property information. I would highly recommend this place for any group anytime of year!
We had a great stay- sledding on the hill, hiking on the AT nearby, skiing at Okemo, soaking in hot tub and cooking in the kitchen (all the knives were nice and sharp!).
I have nothing bad to say about this property. Check-in was easy, house was super clean, listing was very forthcoming with amenities. Everything was fully stocked (shower materials, bathrooms, kitchen) for a large group.
The property itself is gorgeous and huge. Great views of the mountains off the front balcony and we even got to catch a July 4th firework show from a neighboring town. Would gladly stay here again!
We stayed here in March and it was a great spot for late season skiing. Close to Killington and Okemo. Great mountain views. Excellent small grocery store a 5 min drive away.
A group of friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. The house is pretty much right between Okemo and Killington so we were able to visit both mountains. The house was stocked with everything you could need, from toiletries and towels in the bathrooms to a ton of kitchen supplies. Everything was super clean and Samantha answered right away when I had any questions. The hot tub worked great and the views from the living room and back deck were beautiful. We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit Vermont! Thank you so much!
