Perfect family vacation spot.

The property was great. Beautiful outdoor area on the lake. The grandkids had a ball. The size of the home was perfect for our family of 9. Although we loved the place and the location, the house and property could use a little TLC. All in all is was really nice.

Wonderful experience

Perfect for family gathering

We stayed for our son’s wedding. The house was perfect for our family with a bedroom on the main level for my elderly mother. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, playing outdoor chess and conversations around the large kitchen center island. The owner was responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend!

Holiday Stay

We had 9 family members here for a week during Christmas. It was an exceptional property that was clean, comfortable, and fun. The bedding was excellent. The TVs took a little while to figure out but that's normal. Nice home theater. Good hot tub and pool. We used paddle boards but did not use the pontoon boat. Neighborhood was quiet. Great location. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic Property!

Our family had the most amazing vacation at this property! The house was amazing! Very clean and well organized. We loved having the pool and the lake for the 4th of July. Because the lake area is very supervised our teenagers could paddle board and kyak without fear of being fear high speed boats mowing them down. This property was perfect for us and we really enjoyed our 4th of July week. Honestly can't think of any negatives. We all had a awesome time. Thankyou!

The house is way more than advertised

First off, Amanda is fantastic, extremely communicative, and very helpful. Upon driving to the home, it was exactly as listed in the pictures. The house is enormous, and for the price you’re paying for what you get in the property, I would say that it is one of the best rentals in the Houston area. Everything in the home works perfectly; it’s beautiful to be sitting right on the lake. I enjoyed morning walks around the lake, and the neighborhood is meticulously kept. The house was perfect for me; it had more than I needed. I was highly impressed everything worked in the home well, and the theater room was my absolute favorite. They have done a remarkable job at their in-home theater, and I spent many hours in that room. If you’re a reader that wants a detailed great/areas of improvement review, and I’m being highly critical, looking to pick out any improvements. There is some road noise from the freeway across the lake, and there are a couple of items that could use a tiny bit of maintenance in the home. However, looking at the price and all you are getting for the property, it makes up for any minor improvements you will find in any home that is truly a dedicated short term rental. I highly recommend it and would stay again!

Needs some TLC

Great location. Nice house, but in serious need of some TLC. House is surface clean, but really dirty. The pool was full of algae and the pool guy blamed on rain. The problem was no chlorine in the pool and the pool guy not taking care of it. He never came back to check the pool and we had to brush it to get all the algae off the walls. The boat is only usable with a captain and a disclaimer that it is old and unreliable. Who would want to use it if it unreliable? Remotes missing in the home theater so we couldn't get it to work. And lastly the ACs can not keep the house cool until early in the morning. This is a beautiful house and location, but it really needs some attention for the price you are paying. The housekeeper was the blessing in the whole thing. I would not stay here a again.

First let me start by saying that the pool is cleaned twice weekly and was cleaned Friday morning. We had a really bad storm that evening which left the pool cloudy for your arrival Saturday. They cleaned it again on Saturday when the maid informed me of your complaint. They came out the same afternoon of your check in and cleaned it again. The home is always very clean as you can see from the many hundreds of reviews. I did not get any calls on cleanliness from you as i could of had the maid come back if i would of been informed. You addressed the pool but not her cleaning. You also mentions she was the bleassing but complained about the home being dirty. You talked to her so im wondering why you didnt address the cleanliness with her then. The boat can only be taken out if you know how to drive it. You could of gone out if you had hired the Captain. We had the AC guy come and put free on while you were there. I dont understand why guests dont inform me of their issues upon arrival so we could address them then and there but wait until after check out when its too late to do anything about it.. i did however hear about the pool and AC and took care of it immediately. Sorry but even high end hotels are not perfect and have issues too. We do strive to make everyones stay as enjoyable as can be. Have a great day and thank you for your review so we can improve on it.

The Wonderful Time....Family Time

The location was perfect, the size of the home was perfect, the layout was functional for each family unit privacy and comfort. The amenities left no desire to leave the property. The property was not the cleanest. It was 110 degrees in Texas and the upper floor was warm during sleeping hours 8-8. We loved it and would love to return.
