This was a long weekend with the girls. The inside was very nice, but we spent most of our time outside on the patio playing games and swimming in the large pool. We would definitely stay here if we visit Nashville again!
The pictures were spot on! Everything we needed was provided as listed and the property managers were very responsive. We will definitely look to see if this house is available the next time we are in Nashville.

Thank you Shannon, it was a pleasure having y’all!
Very cute and private hideaway close to downtown Nashville. Bedding was very comfortable. Supplies available. Pool an added bonus on hot summer days. Owners were very communicate and hospitable.
Not in the best neighborhood but overall recommend staying here, easy to get everywhere and the pool makes the property. You can tell they took a lot of thought Into preserving the history of the home. Decorated very nicely.

Gorgeous interiors, great place for family gatherings
The interiors are amazing, the owners had great eye for style. A great big 3 bedroom house, just wish it was warm to use the pool and the amazing outside dining area. Stunning renovations. We where not sure about the location but it was only at 15 minute drive to the bustle and great restaurant it seemed. Highly recommend staying in this place had lots of space.
This is a gorgeous historic home. Host was very responsive and welcoming. The yard was perfect for our small family pandemic Thanksgiving safe celebration. Big fire pit with ample supply of wood. Wish it was in a better neighborhood

Thank you for the review Kathy, we are glad that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!
Overall we enjoyed our stay and we loved that we could bring our puppies. The only thing that we were bummed out about was the cleanliness of a some areas of the house, with some cob webs. We understand that with an older house you will naturally have that too, which is why we took it with a grain of salt and soaked up every other bonus there. Gorgeous pool and cool history and architecture. We LOVED the antique floors and architecture. Also, we personally felt it was slightly over priced but again, we still enjoyed our stay very much.
Loved the house with its rich history and restoration. All the kids loved the house’s uniqueness and even named the animal heads! Very clean and well stocked. The pool was an area we used daily - clean & refreshing! And I loved the porch swing! The owners were quick to respond.

A perfect secluded hideaway. Beautifully decorated & private backyard. The pool is a great bonus!
What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get! This is a beautifully decorated home and a very private backyard. There is plenty of room for a family to stay and well supplied. The owners were very easy to work with. Hanging out in the back yard around the pool was a great way to spend our day after being downtown the night before. Definitely would stay again!! The best part is this is a pet friendly property so our entire family was able to get away.

This is a really cool old house. The history behind it makes it even more interesting. The backyard was a great place to relax. Very private. The hosts were very responsive. We had no issues whatsoever. Very nicely renovated/restored. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice retreat to Nashville.

Thank you again Jim, you are welcome to any of our properties anytime!
It was a great time! Great house! Only issues was the door and lock are old and really difficult to lock! I would suggest putting a clothes rack in all the bedrooms not just two. Especially if there is 6 or more people staying. The pool was amazing just needed to be clean! Overall the experience was great!
My daughter’s bucket list was to be in Nashville for her 21st Birthday. We took 3 of her friends and her 2 sisters. She wanted to stay in an authentic southern house with a pool. This property was great and I couldn’t have imagined being there for 4 days without a pool and downtown the whole time. The girls would not have survived lol. The communication from the hosts was excellent and quickly responded with any questions or needs. The only thing I’d recommend is more towels.
This house is so cool! For being an old remodel, it was insanely clean. I didn't see a single bug inside.
The neighborhood was not great, but typical for being so close to downtown. While I didn't feel comfortable grabbing food down the streestreet. St
Our family had a great stay at the hydeout house. It’s a great distance from all attractions in Nashville. Our only complaint was the grass was not cut during our stay so it was a little uncomfortable to walk to and from the pool. I’m assuming it may have rained prior to us arriving and they weren’t able to maintenance it.
zero complaints! the house was fantastic (old and funky but modern and gorgeous...the perfect combo!). the house managers responded literally within minutes to every question i had during our stay. the pool and outside space was fabulous, the kitchen well stocked (we cooked every night), the beds so comfy, the technology great, the space was relaxing and we never wanted to leave. minutes from the bustle of downtown nashville but in an older neighborhood full of locals. we will be back next summer! much love!!

Thank you Rebecca, it was our pleasure having y'all :)
The house was amazing! We enjoyed the pool and the home! It was close to the city which made it easy to get to downtown and back, minimal traffic. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook, the grill worked great! Really liked our stay here.
The house is located close to some time of truck stop so you do hear road noise through the night of trucks driving down the road. The only table to sit at is located out on the porch, which was fine for us with the fans on but for lunch time is was incredibly warm. Pending time of year this would not be an issue though!
I you are looking to walk, this isn’t the a lot for you, but it was a short drive to all the areas of the city. More quiet and spread out than the areas just south of the river. We saw deer on the property twice, which was cool. The hosts sent over all info and instructions were clear. The lot is huge and the back deck/fenced in back yard were great for our dog. Unfortunately it was too cold to take advantage of it much ourselves, but there is also a large fire pit. Great value. Only drawback for us was there is no dining table inside, but luckily we only had appetizer type stuff so it wasn’t a big deal. Great seating area outside though of the weather is nice.

We're not local natives, but it didn't take long to fall in love with everything that is Nashville. We enjoy being social, hiking to waterfalls, chatting around a fire pit or experiencing new restaurants with friends.
Why they chose this property
When we first came first discovered the Hydeout House, it resonated with us, the history, it’s story and cherry on the top - modern remodel. It has been a unique home where we have created lifelong memories, and believe you will as well!
What makes this property unique
Crafted in the mid 1800's and once residence to the infamous outlaws Frank and Jesse James, this home now embellishes imported palms, an in-ground salt water pool, rustic bed swing and one acre reserve like property.
