Lovely stay in Mill Valley

The location of the home was perfect for San Francisco and points north of San Francisco. The home was beautiful and comfortable but could have been a bit cleaner (kitchen, showers, bath tub). The owner was lovely to deal with. One sink in the primary bathroom did not get water, and it would have been nice to have a dedicated parking spot (rather than street parking) given the cost of the home. That being said, we highly recommend it!

Oasis in a Sunny Treehouse

A stunning unusual house which makes you ponder the wild parties that once were held there in yesteryear. Kind & attentive Caretaker on premise, extremely comfortable beds, sublime TV viewing experience, open/easy to navigate kitchen, quality accessories, large porch, fenced in yard & good location for hiking.

A sunny, stunning architectural jewel box, glass- walled and surrounded by trees framing a city view

Opening the front door each and every time was such a distinct pleasure- walking into ever changing sweeping views of sunrises over the bay, fog lifting over distant hills, reflected sunsets and SF city lights. Walls of glass create a sunny environment, yet full privacy due to the surrounding beautiful trees and mature landscaping. The master bedroom with a curtained four poster, surrounded by lush green plantings feels like a canopied treetop retreat! There’s plenty of gathering spaces for families and friends inside and out on the decks, and a spacious kitchen to enjoy cooking. Morning g coffee out on the deck overlooking the Marin hills and bay was a special treat. Hiking and biking trails are close by and downtown shopping is only minutes away, making it super convenient.

A pleasure to stay in this gorgeous home

My stay at this beautiful home was an extreme pleasure. Nestled next to a redwood grove at the base of Mount Tamalpais, the indoor and outdoor space around the house receives beautiful sunlight for much of the day. The unique walls of windows in the living room area connect to a patio highlighting the setting overlooking the bay and the city skyline. The location is perfect with easy trail access for hiking and biking, close to Mill Valley town, and, removed enough to be quiet. The property owner, Julie is personable, accommodating, and welcoming, as is the handy and courteous property manager who lives in the cabana located in the below side garden. I've had such a nice experience, I definitely want to come back to spend more time in this gorgeous and comfortable dwelling place. Thank you!
