Angler's Cove - On the Water, Private Dock, Boat Lift

Pet friendly beach house on the sleepy north end of Longboat Key. This home is ideally located on a quiet, residential street. It's perfect for boaters and fishermen because the house backs up to the widest part of a deep saltwater canal. Great fishing right off the dock or just sit out there with a good book and enjoy the relaxed island vibe. If you prefer the beach, the prettiest, most pristine powder sugar sand beach is only a 5 minute walk. We provide beach chairs, beach cart and a beach umbrella.

The house itself is fantastic. Extremely spacious for 3 BR/2BA. Everything is on one level with no steps to climb. Freshly decorated in a tropical nautical theme. The home features comfy beds, crisp, clean linens and a fully stocked kitchen. If you are looking for indoor/outdoor living space, then you will love the screened-in lanai that overlooks the grand canal. Manatees, pelicans and egrets are frequent visitors. You are welcome to use the10,000 pound lift for your boat.

Longboat Key is known for its outstanding beaches, marvelous sunsets are and warm tropical breezes. The entire island is a sea turtle and migratory bird sanctuary. There is very little public parking so its like having your own private beach. A true paradise on earth, once you've experienced Longboat Key, you won't want to vacation anyplace else.

Very healing stay

Lovely spot

We loved our stay at the Aquamarine Dream. The house was spacious and clean. It’s very close to a public beach, walking distance, and the beach has soft white powdery sand. It’s not crowded and beautiful. The house backs up to a canal and you can take the kayak out and enjoy the bay and nature. The management is great and communication is excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Beyond Our Expectations!

This property is ideally located in the north end of Longboat Key on a canal that’s great for fishing at your back door! The house is very clean, the beds and furniture very comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. All the conveniences of home at the beach. The walk to the beach is easy and short, and the beach is beautiful and uncrowded. Beach chairs, beach cart, beach towels, umbrellas, and sand toys were much appreciated. The washer and dryer are top notch and got a good workout from us this week. We would not hesitate to book this home again, in fact we are already planning our next stay in this home.

This home is owned by Paul and Michelle and managed by Stephanie. Stephanie is a former flight attendant and restaurant manager. Her hobbies are exercise (bodypump and yoga are her favorites), playing the piano and spending time with family. Her favorite things include coffee, wine and chocolate, in that order. Stephanie vacationed in Sarasota for many years before making it her adopted hometown.

Why they chose this property

This charming beach home has been in the Zipper family since 2002 and has recently been updated by the owners Paul and Michelle Zipper. They are both Florida locals and enjoy spending time at the beach, traveling, SCUBA and quality time with their growing family and rescue dog Heinz. We hope you cherish this peaceful paradise and make many memories filled with aquamarine dreams!

Our favorite things: peaceful bike riding through the historic Longboat key neighborhoods, spotting dolphins at the beach, enjoying the local restaurants on the Key/St. Armand’s Circle as well as checking out music and theater shows through Sarasota’s art scene.
