We had a great stay at Superior Times. We didn't get to see much of the resort area because of the snow but the lodging was great. The bungalow was toasty and the cabin was great. The hosts made sure we were comfortable and that we had a great trip! Thanks
Great location, very clean cabin, nice friendly and quiet camp ground. The store has everything you need with reasonable prices. Would highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to camp tent.
This little cabin was a perfect retreat with excellent hosts. We had a problem with our screen die and the owner was there within seconds to make it workable. The campground is laid out well and there is plenty of shade. I highly recommend this campground.
This was a super cute place, warm and cozy. It had everything I needed to be comfortable during my stay and heated bathrooms with showers and a place to wash my dishes was just steps away. The park is on a beautiful lake and not far from Au Train with beaches and other fun stuff. This was one of my favorite places to stay and will definitely come back.

We reserved a bungalow and had 5 adults. It was the perfect size for us. The beds were very comfortable and the bungalow clean along with the restrooms.
Highly recommend staying here.
Only critique would be to add a little microwave to the bungalows.
These cabins are great for 2-3 people out for winter adventure. Warm and comfortable place to sleep. The bathrooms are clean and convenient with warm showers. Easy check in and communication with the host.
Once you arrived you were allowed to begin setting up and didn’t have to check in which was convenient. They had everything there that you need ice, ice cream, and wood. Everything was clean and the showers were nice and hot. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
Will definitely be returning. Perfect spot to get all the of the benefits of being on an inland lake (less waves, wind blocked from trees, more peaceful) but still close enough to the captivating Lake Superior shores to enjoy sunset and possibly get a glimpse of the Northern Lights of your lucky!
Very nice cabin bungalows. Nice interior and exterior. Quiet campground. Clean bathrooms/showers, comfortable beds. Nice fridge, ceiling fan/light and a table with 4 chairs. Outside small deck with 2 chairs/table, picnic table and nice firepit. We didn't need the charcoal grill or electric heat in cabin. Very nice stay. We loved the workmanship/design of cabin bungalows. Would definately stay again.
Everything was exactly what we expected. The cabin was new and cozy, the bathrooms/showers were warm, clean and brand new. The owner of the property was exceptional at communicating and providing direction.
The entire camp was quiet and it looks like a great summertime destination too!
The only thing I would suggest - bring some house shoes, the floors do get a bit cold.
We had stayed once before in the same time of year so we knew what to expect. The cabin is basic, but that is reflected in the price. The bathrooms are clean and heated in the winter. We love the location and how beautiful things are in the snow. It was also nice to see so many deer. We love that we can have our dog come and because the cabin is so basic we don't worry about her getting anything dirty when she comes in.
My husband and i book bungalow 2 for our 10 year anniversary. First the comunicstion was top notch! The directions she gave us was better then our gps. The place was so cute and clean and love the individual bathroom best hot shower! Now lets talk about that view, amazing! Right on the water with things provided to do we honestly want to come back just for that next summer! The host was so friendly and helpful thank you for letting us stay. We've already told our family and friends and plan on coming up next summer.
10 out of 10 recommend.
Beautiful small campground right on Au Train Lake. Our family of 6 stayed in a cabin with a 3 queens (2 of which were set up as bunk beds- upper bunk has no guard rail). The cabin was clean, had mini fridge/freezer, trash can, dining table set for 4, charcoal grill, picnic table, 2 outdoor chairs with small table. The cabin has a ceiling fan and space heater. Quiet hours were enforced which was much appreciated for a good night's rest! We enjoyed staying here and swimming in the beautiful Au train river and Lake Superior.
I came up for the Michigan Ice Fest, and upon booking, I thought I would be on my own, so I didn’t feel comfortable camping, so somewhere between a tent and a cabin seemed perfect. I didn’t need too much, just to be near Munising/Pictured Rocks, a place with WiFi to do my homework and properly lock up my electronics out of the cold seemed best. The little bungalows were actually so much cuter and spacious than I thought from the pics, and the grounds were so quiet with a beautiful frozen lake. If I need something like this again, I will absolutely come back and recommend to others! Quiet, beautiful, and the owners were so friendly and responsive! Highly recommend!
The beds were very uncomfortable. We bought rugs and left them there because the sand and dirt that you track into the little cabin was unreal. Pricing is accurate. Bath houses could use a nice cleaning to remove cobwebs.
Our family had the best time. There was so much to do for everyone. Lots of details have been thoughtfully planned out by the owners. Our kids especially loved getting ice cream and being able to walk back and forth between our campsites. Very nice and clean. The cabins were bigger than I expected. As a family of 5 we are very comfortable. Would definitely come back again!
We really enjoyed our bungalow! Very clean and comfortable! Included a ceiling fan plenty of outlets and a refrigerator and freezer! Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms and showers were very clean! Can't say a single bad thing about our stay! Close enough to town to do the things we wanted to do but far enough away that we could relax! Owners were very nice and accommodating! Can't wait to come back!
This was was our first visit to the UP. This bungalow was perfect for our trip. Centrally located to everything we had planned. The bungalow are clean and close to bathrooms and showers. The owners clearly work hard to maintain this property. They had firewood, ice and a few essentials on site to make our stay easy and comfortable. We will definitely make a return visit! Thanks for a great experience!
We had a fantastic time at Superior Times! It was a great campground and our cabin was perfect for our family of four!! We will be back for sure!
