Beautiful lake front, boat dock, kayaks, near Clemson. This large family home sits on beautiful lake Hartwell. Lake Hartwell is famous for great fishing and many water sports. Just a short drive to Clemson University and many beautiful waterfalls. The house has seven bedrooms, five full baths and 2 half baths. Four of the bedrooms have their own private bath. Sleeps 16 very comfortably The house has two well stocked kitchens which allows for plenty of space to spread out. There is a two story gas fireplace, screened porch with lots of seating, large game room with pool table, ping-pong, etc. enjoy the water pad, 5 single kayaks and 2 junior kayaks, and 2 paddle boards, 3 person canoe.

Large gas grill and two porches for outside dining, and nice Charcoal grill. Hot tub and gas fireplace on lower patio with sitting area.
Fire pit down near the lake. Great place for an evening fire or just relaxing by the lake. BOOK 3 nights from Oct. 1st to March 30 and get 4th night FREE.

Making Memories

Really enjoyed our stay in this home! We gathered for our annual family vacation and made great memories playing in the lake, jumping off the famous rock, tubing in nearby Helen Ga. This home is fully supplied with everything you need! Sandra is the best host ever and answered all my questions very quickly. Beds are very comfortable and rooms dark for those who want to sleep in. Hope to come back soon!

Family time

Our group was a fifty and over, we traveled south to visit a member of our family that is not capable of traveling anymore. The house was perfect our stay was very laid back. But there is so many things to do there it would suit anyone. Would recommend it highly! Sandra was a great host , she truly has your best interest at heart.

Fantastic lake getaway

This house has it all. The kayaks, paddle boards, kids toys, floats and water pad kept us all entertained. We rented a boat and kept it at the dock which was great. Ping pong, pool table and hot tub were all added bonuses as well. Great vacation spot.

Perfect for big groups

Had a great weekend getaway at this property with a group of friends and everyone agreed that the home is fantastic. Lots of great amenities. Plenty of rooms, and most have their own private bathroom—a huge plus for our group. The lake access is fantastic. Owners are A++. Would definitely rent this place again.

We had a great time in this lovely home. Lots of space for a large family.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. This beautiful home is well stocked. Our family really enjoyed using the kayaks and had much fun playing pool and ping pong. The host was also great to work with. We hope to return someday!

Fun in the Lake

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. We had plenty of room for the 13 of us and all of us loved our time in the lake. It was close to hiking as well as white-water rafting. We would highly recommend this home.

Perfect Spot!

We loved this house and property. The house was clean and organized. The kitchens had everything we needed to cook meals. There were toys for the kids to play with and they loved the Lilly pad on the lake. It was so relaxing to sit by the water all day and let the kids play.

High School Annual Reunion

Our high school military BRAT group has been gathering at the lake for over 20 years and this house is our favorite. When we enter the front door, it feels like we’re home….Because we moved so often growing up, being able to return to a familiar home means everything to us.

Excellent home for large family

This was such. Large home and our family of 12 had room to move. Never felt like we were on top of each other. The view was excellent and relaxing. We had many pool tournaments and ping pong matches. Host was great to work with and reached out to check in a few times.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Lakehouse with our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and their significant others! We came from multiple states so we wanted a quiet place with plenty of room. The house was big, clean, and had so much kitchen/fridge space for everything we needed! We loved it and had an amazing time! The renters were quick to answer and provided everything! Definitely would return.

Awesome Lake House

We will be back!!! Highly recommended. Multigenerational family - all comfortable and happy! Fully “loaded” house -kayaks, vests, water toys and indoors - pool table and pingpong; - kitchen has basic Needs and bathrooms are well stocked. It feels more like a family or a good friend letting you use their house rather than a VRBO rental. Appreciated all the supplies. - Excellent communication w/ owner. We rented a pontoon boat and the dock had a “parking spot” . Everyone enjoyed our vacation. Thank you Sandra

Family friendly rental

Our group of friends enjoyed celebrating New Years’ Eve at Marsha’s home! She and their property manager were both helpful and kind, especially when there were a couple of issues with our check in. The home was a great set up for several families with small children. There were toys and children’s items on site and the layout worked well for us to each have our own space and bathroom. We appreciated having two full kitchens with gas stoves and space for everyone to hang out comfortably. There were a couple of parts of the home that could have been cleaner so we mentioned those to Marsha and she responded well. Access to the amenities including the indoor pool and playground were awesome to have as well. Overall it’s a good place to stay!

We’ve stayed at a few VRBO’s through the years, and we all agreed this was the best yet! The house was so clean and comfortable and included many amenities that couldn’t have been more perfect for our group of 15 (ages 6-72).The children stayed in the lake all day - endlessly entertained with swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, playing on the giant floating mat, going over to jumping rock, and fishing. Sandra was great to work with and immediately answered questions that came up. She suggested a local waterfall to visit, which was simply amazing. We are so glad we made the choice to stay here!

Great lake house for big family.

We had a great time at the lakehouse with our extended family! Easy access to the lake, great neighbors we chatted with often! The amount of rooms/beds is perfect for a bigger family and having 2 full kitchens was perfect for keeping all our food we tend to bring (2 fridges were a life saver!) would for sure stay here again. Communication before, during and after was great with the owners!

Definitely Warrants a Return Stay

Our group of cousins and spouses are all over 65 and some have mobility issues, but at least once a year we gather for a mini family reunion. Everyone felt this house was a favorite of all the ones we have rented before. The access to the lake was gradual and walkable by everyone. The house was perfect for whatever activity a person wanted--kayaking, swimming, fishing, reading on the lower covered patio, walking, playing board games, soaking in the hot tub. All equipment was well maintained and the patio furniture was plentiful and very comfortable. Inside the house was just as inviting. Four king beds with private baths! Three additional bedrooms with comfortable twins or a queen. Sturdy handrails on the stairs. It was just perfect. And we like to cook--the kitchen was one of the best stocked and spacious kitchens we have had--three people could cook and/or clean without tripping over each other or constantly having to move out of the way. The multiple refrigerators were so appreciated and we never ran out of ice--a first! From the moment we walked in, it was evident that this house is someone's home and not just a rental property. That makes all the difference. Thank you, Sandra, for allowing us to have such a lovely place to reconnect with our aging family.

AWESOME HOME & LOCATION!

Family gathering to celebrate Easter together as a family as well as my 75th birthday. This home is PERFECT! It is warm and inviting, with well stocked kitchens with all the necessary appliances and items needed. The property host was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very timely and responsive to any of my questions. Location is beautiful as well. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the lake with all of the kayaks and paddle boards on site. Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Will definitely go back as this place is PERFECT!
