This charming lake front house on Hartwell is the perfect escape for your family. Enjoy the fantastic views from this spacious home on the Tugaloo River channel. Spend your days swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding from the private dock. If you're feeling daring, venture across the channel to jump into the cool lake water from the well-known "jumping rock". Evenings can be spent watching the sunset from the dock, playing shuffleboard or cornhole on the lower deck and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit.

Lots of great hiking trails nearby as well as orchards and Chattooga Belle Farm. The beautiful Clemson University campus is an easy 35 minute drive. Your family will have plenty of activities to keep you entertained during your stay.

Great little getaway

Perfect Lake House

Perfect family retreat to kick off summer!

This house was perfect for a multi-generational gathering to kick off summer. John was a responsive host. Sleeping arrangements were great. The beds and linens made for restful sleeps all around! Having the kayaks and swim pad were essential for keeping the 4 kids busy. Location across from the jumping rocks was a great adventure each day. Besides a one day hike at some water falls we hung out at the house the whole time -relaxing for the adults and tons of fun for the kids. The basement game and hangout area kept the kids busy in the morning so the adults even got to sleep in! The only thing that was off with this location was the appliances -those could use an upgrade. Again John was great at responding to our challenge - so all worked out!

Lake house retreat

Ideal location on the water off the beaten path and away from the busiest areas. Peaceful and serene. The dock was great and loved access to kayaks and paddle-boards.

Couldn't be happier with our stay in this wonderful house!

Wonderful experience! The house is fabulous, well taken care of, the owner was extremely accommodating and made himself available for anything we needed! We are definitely coming back to this house!
