CLOSED FOR MAJOR REBUILD.Lovely 1940's Knotty Pine ocean view cabin right in the heart of Oceanside. Kid and pet friendly. LLocated only a few minutes walk to the beach, this cabin comes with a fully supplied kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge. Hear the ocean roar in this very comfortable 850 square foot cabin in front of the wood fireplace. This home is safety inspected and licensed through Tillamook County.

Very kid friendly with games, legos, other toys and beach toys. Multiple places to view the ocean and the beach, both inside and outside of the cabin.
Great for a family and sleeps up to 6 people.
Master bedroom has great partial ocean view.
Small knotty pine WALK-THROUGH bedroom with a double bed.
Double size bunkbed ALCOVE ( DOES NOT COUNT AS AN OFFICIAL BEDROOM) knotty pine room off of master bedroom.



Unique tree-deck in a Sitka spruce tree with a unobstructed ocean view (use is at renter's risk).
If you want to go boogie boarding in the ocean, we have a large selection of full wetsuits for children, men and women ( ranging from child size 4 to adult XXXL), booties, gloves and boogie boards for your use.
Your well behaved pets are welcome with a pet fee.
No smoking.
Kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, toaster, waffle iron, rice cooker and crab pot. Brand new outdoor gas grill.
Parking available for 2 vehicles along the street of the cabin. There are several full time residential households directly adjacent, so we ask renters to please be considerate with the level of noise.

One of the most well-stocked cabins I’ve stayed at! The tree deck has amazing views, and there is ample dry firewood available for the woodstove. Very cozy off-season stay!

Knotty Pine Cabin Oceanside getaway

The cabin was cozy, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The fireplace was awesome, the wood supply ample and the treehouse was spectacular. Great location for beach combing, lighthouse viewing and daily walks. Would definitely come again.

Amazing, cozy getaway

We had a great time at the cabin! Well-stocked kitchen, everything that you need for stay away at the beach. Great location, just a walk down the hill to the most amazing hidden gem of a beach. And the treehouse was wonderful for sunsets and sunrises. We had an amazing time, and will, for sure be back again!

Heavenly Early Autumn Visit

Cozy Nest With Breathtaking View

This older home is sweetly maintained and is the perfect set up for a small family or group of friends. Rory is a wonderful host, easy to reach if needed, and has thoughtfully appointed the unit with many extra little conveniences--the frozen pint glasses were a treat to find. My family looks forward to return visits!

Great location and views

The location of this property is great - in a peaceful neighborhood and convenient to nearby beaches and Tillamook town. The partial ocean views and sound of the sea were wonderful. The cabin is quaint but well stocked with useful supplies. The excellent washer and dryer were put to good use! Appreciated the good wifi, TV apps, and easy to use door lock. The size of the main bed felt more like a full than a queen. Wish the shower was larger rather than a capsule. Good stay overall - thank you!

Knottypine cabin Oceanside

This cabin is cozy in the summer or winter months. Great views. Access to foothills and beach out of the front door. Very quiet neighborhood. I am so happy to be able to stay in such a great place with my dogs. Nothing fancy about the cabin but it is a jewel if clean and comfortable is good for you. Beds are good!

Great find for a comfortable beach escape

Cabin was cozy and very well stocked. Perfect size for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. Excellent view of the beach which was a short (although slightly steep) walk away. Beach had great tide pools to explore. Plenty to do within walking distance, also quick drive to several other beautiful beaches, viewpoints, and Tillamook Creamery. We especially enjoyed watching sunrise and sunset which could be done from the living room area, patio, or treehouse. Easy check-in and check-out, had everything (and more) for a comfortable stay.

Our third fantastic visit to Oceanside!

It's been 11 years since we last visited and our family once again enjoyed an amazing stay at the Knotty Pine Cabin! We absolutely fell in love with this place when we first visited in 2010. The tree deck, wetsuits and boogie boards, beach chairs, firewood and location make the Knotty Pine a very special place. Our kids aren't small anymore, but the cabin accommodated our family of 5 just fine. We loved having meals on the deck, fires on the beach, and exploring the beautiful Oregon coast. Thanks for a fabulous stay!!

In the heart of Oceanside

This small house in the heart of Oceanside, has a welcoming and warm cabin-like feel. We loved the views to the sea (though partially obstructed) and the sound of the surf. A fireplace and supply of firewood made our February evenings especially pleasant. The home is located directly above the "business center" and community park, and it is an easy walk to the beach. Knotty Pine's owner has equipped it with just about anything you would have in your own home including the vast inventory of wet suits! We loved our stay.

Best Family Vacation Yet!

Our stay at Knotty Pine was without question the best vacation our family has had. We loved the view from the tree deck and the wetsuits allowed us to play in the ocean almost every day. Our three kids (13, 11, and 6) started planning our return before our week was over. Campfires on the beach and boogie boarding were definitely the highlights of the trip for us. We absolutely recommend this property. The owner was very accomodating, the description was accurate, the documentation provided explained everything we needed to know. Roseanna's has great desserts and we absolutely loved Brewin in the Wind for coffee and breakfast treats.

Oceanside cottage

Great communication with the host and excellent location close to everything. It really wasn't that big an issue with us but hadn't realized from the photos that the second two bedrooms were quite small and in order to get to the main bedroom you had to walk through either of the two smaller bedrooms. Might be something if you had more people staying that could be a little challenging. Well equipped kitchen comfortable accommodations and while we did not use them the number of wetsuits and water sports equipment was amazing.

Hi Susan, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We work hard to give an accurate description of the cabin so as not to over sell, which may have been missed when you rented the cabin. It is an unusual bedroom arrangement and have always wanted people to be aware. Here is how we describe it. "Small knotty pine walk-through bedroom with a double bed. Double size bunkbed in knotty pine room off of master bedroom." We do not advertise the bunkbed room as a bedroom, thus the 2 bedroom description of the cabin, as it does not have an egress window. We also have a very comfortable couch in the living room for potential sleeping, as well as a living room chair that folds down flat and along with the ottoman foot rest, can be used as a single bed( which we do not advertise.) We have loved the Oceanside community and its beauty for over 20 years. Fortunately, we are able to buy this wonderful cabin as our second home. We hope others enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Oceanside is a picturesque town overlooking the Three Capes rocks which are a wildlife refuge for a multitude of birds and sea lions.
The area is at the 'end of the road' with little commercialism and natural beauty. It is also one of the closest coastal towns from Portland which is 90 minutes away.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is a real 1930s cabin which has been modernized, but maintains its comfortable charm. Even though it is small ( about 800 square ft.), it has a great floor plan so it feels larger to me. The view from the house and deck is great, and the tree deck is alot of fun with an awesome view.
I've slept up in the tree deck and with the surf sounds, I felt I was sleeping in the ocean.
