Beautiful home in a lovely, peaceful location. Kitchen was terrific and we also really enjoyed the upstairs bar area with pool table. This is a wonderful property!
We had an outstanding long weekend celebrating 11 years as a Book Club in an absolutely beautiful setting! The house was immaculate, we had more than enough space, and then some, and the grounds were stunning! Plenty of outdoor sitting areas and balcony views made the transition into autumn perfect. We will definitely want to celebrate more years here!
Such a beautiful home! And the gardens and surrounding trees and creek are also beautiful! So very quiet. The house was perfect for our 90th birthday celebration. Easily held our guests (21 of us) and the accommodations for the 6 family members gave everyone their own private suite! Would love to stay in the summer when everything is in bloom.
I cannot recommend this home enough! A beautiful home set on a secluded property conveniently located in wine country. Wonderfully appointed with tons of versatility. This home accommodated indoor/outdoor dining, spacious/cozy living spaces, and great bedrooms and bathrooms throughout.
The Tuscan Home in Oregon Wine Country was perfect for our family! We had a large family gathering for the Thanksgiving holiday and the space worked perfectly. Lots of room in the large kitchen for prep/cooking and serving. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. The large dining area was able to hold all of our extended family very comfortably. Everyone enjoyed the variety of spaces from the gaming area, outside patio and comfortable living room. We had a small issue related to the septic, contacted the host and she was there right away to fix it.
Thank you for opening your lovely home for vacationers, we loved it!
This property is beautiful. The house is very nice. We enjoyed three nights there while wine tasting in the area with friends. The house is well planned and roomy. The master bedroom and bath are lovely. We enjoyed using the pool table. I do not like to leave any rating that is not a five star as I am a vacation rental myself. However, I did leave only four stars in this case because of the following: neither of the two screen doors worked (one falling off), the barbecue was dirty on the outside but worse on the inside (rusted grills) to the point we wouldn’t use it or even attempt to clean it, no instructions for air conditioner (we did call the owner, and she did return our call but we missed it) in a home that has very few opening windows…not allowing for natural air flow, only one roll of paper towels could be found, the kitchen drawers that had been left empty were unclean, check out instructions asked us to clean but leave out all used dishes so they could be “sanitized” (were we supposed to keep all the dishes we used over a three day stay cleaned and on the counters?), windows are all in need of cleaning, balcony off pool table was room pretty messy and needs a good sweeping, and a very small but something that should probably be reconsidered is the multi use coffee canister and the uncovered sugar bowl…not the most sanitary and can easily be remedied. These are all fairly minor issues that we were able to work around. Taken in total though, they diminished the enjoyment of our stay…especially the barbecue! I would still recommend staying here and hope that the remedy of the more major of these issues might help to make the property fully a five star experience for future guests. It was truly one of the nicest rentals we’ve stayed in.

Thank you for the detailed critiques. Very helpful as our reviews on both platforms are 5 star raving and these minor particulars are never mentioned for us to rectify. Please keep in mind this property is in the windy Oregon countryside. There are lots of old tree growth cover, bugs and critters. Decks, windows and anything sitting outside - like the BBQ grill - take only a matter of hours to get messy and weathered. They are impossible to keep pristine 100% of the time. I will check into the grill. We just replaced the grates earlier this summer. It sure has been a popular feature to degrade that fast! Multi use coffee is a highly requested item and necessary for the larger drip coffee pot. That is how coffee was done up until a few years ago. When did this become unsanitary? I'm genuinely confused. But will definitely find a lid for sugar bowl. Gotta keep that sugar germ free!
We are being criticized for wanting to sanitize the dishes? I can see now how inconvenient this must have been. If you'd prefer to not leave them out when you left, then you certainly could have put them away. No big deal. This is not something I would have complained about or knocked a star for but I'm glad you liked the property overall!
Staying at this home made you feel like you were part of a forest. Truly so beautiful!! The home and the land surrounding it were perfect. The host had every accommodation available.
We stayed at this property for our visit to the Willamette Valley. It easily fit 6 adults and was a great home base for traveling to wineries, hiking, etc. The property and landscaping are beautiful. The home was very well maintained and communication was very easy with the property manager. Would happily stay here again!
Everything was as advertised and then some. Beautiful home extremely well built and not a cheap rental property. Great location in wine country. Every room had their own bathroom and patio to gain some privacy but the common areas were terrific to spend time together watching tv, eating, drinking wine, or playing billiards. Incredible sound system throughout the house to listen to music or watch TV from the deck outside. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
This home was perfect for our girls weekend wine country get away! It is absolutely gorgeous and Alissa is a very responsive host. The back deck and scenery overlooking the creek are breathtaking! Perfect for a morning cup of coffee on a brisk fall morning. The huge gourmet kitchen was perfect for our private chef dinner.
The only complaint from our group was that the big window/doors in the bedrooms do not have drapes, so sleeping in was difficult for most of the ladies (who were excited to sleep-in during a weekend without their kiddos). Also, the cell service is not great in this location, definitely not the host’s fault. But the home did have guest WiFi that worked perfectly.
We all loved the property. Gave a feeling of being in Italy. House and property stunning.
Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to stay. Watched deer running through property of an evening. The flowers, vegetable plants and foliage all done beautifully.
Hi Vitaly, would you mind elaborating? we just had all the carpets cleaned 3 weeks ago and the cleaners had come through the morning of your arrival. Was there a particular area of concern? more detailed feedback would really help us make the necessary adjustments in the right areas.
We had a chill bachelorette weekend here and the stay was great! Very clean, Alissa was easy to get in contact with, and the place was beautiful. Would definitely recommend
This house is in a beautiful country setting and filled with everything you need. The furnishings are clean and very comfortable.
The peaceful outdoor surrounding is great for a romantic or family get away.
Are only regret was not being able to stay longer.
We would absolutely stay here again.

Why they chose this property
This is a very special place! Custom designed and lovingly built by my parents, it is a home they had only dreamed of! Surrounded by farmland, trees, deer and hummingbirds, you can almost feel the weight of life melt away as you gaze out over the dramatic slope of the back yard and creek.
What makes this property unique
At 3,500 sqft and only 3 bedrooms, this home has space to sprawl out. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom and large closet space and comfortably distanced from the other bedrooms, providing great privacy. The main living space offers multiple areas to eat and be merry - including a large dinning table (that can expand larger yet with an expansion leaf), an eat-in bar in the kitchen that seats 4, a cafe nook off the kitchen that seats 4+, outdoor table on the kitchen patio that seats 8 and a sprawling partially covered deck overlooking the peaceful backyard. To top it all off this remote and peaceful oasis is brilliantly located close to major cities and attractions with a beautiful lush Oregon drive into town.
