About this property
The Peach House, Lower Level
This is a non smoking place. We have a huge family so get-togethers are so tight and crowded. As everyone aged, bunking became uncomfortable so we turned the lower level of a small healthy cooking school as our family's extra guest house, and everyone loved it. So, we decided to open it to everyone traveling to Cincinnati or visiting friends and family in town. The Lower level of Peachy's Health Smart Place, called THE PEACH HOUSE sleeps up to 4 adults (and 1 child). You have 7 steps to gt down to the lower level. It has a kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave oven, induction cooktop, Keurig coffee maker and toaster. Comfortable eating area and living room w flat screen tv. Adjacent shower with separate vanity and toilet and laundry area.

This was a great space and larger than I thought it would be! Can be a touch warm during the summer months but was not a huge problem at all. The host was the sweetest and I would book to stay here 10/10 again.
Peachy was a great host. Had a few hiccups in the beginning but overall everything went well. The only major issue I had was the cleanliness of the place. It was somewhat dusty and there were crumbs in some areas. I would not have an issue staying there again though.
Easy checkin but keypad was a little wonky. Usually took a few attempts to unlock door. Quiet and quaint basement unit. Quirky layout but did not mind. Shower head could be replaced and shower door did not close well. Otherwise stay was quite nice and relaxing.
Peachy was a gem to work with from the start. She is very responsive and attentive. She even offered her cooking class at a discount and shared her vegetable garden, which we thoroughly enjoyed both! The location is close to the highway and easy to get to other venues, even downtown Cincinnati. The private parking and yard are a plus. Peachy really has thought of the little things in this place from Yoga tools to providing dinner for us upon arrival. We will definitely stay with Peachy again in the near future!
The owner host was available, most helpful, and a delightful personality. She quickly remediated problems.
This unit in an old home was converted from a residential basement probably 30 years ago. The quirky floor plan is dark except in the bedroom, and appears not to have been updated except for the washer/dryer, but the queen bed next to the exterior door is very comfortable. The decor is most eclectic. The cleaning service needs be more thorough.
We needed a two week rental and chose this unit on short notice because of it’s location, which was perfect for us, and didn’t question the price differential from other units.
This is our second time booking with Peachy and once again she was wonderful. Definitely enjoyed our stay and will be back

About the host

I am Peachy Seiden, a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist for many many years. Currently, I work as a clinical dietitian at a nearby hospital. I have a private nutrition consulting practice at the street level of this property where I also teach healthy cooking classes on Saturdays. I am married with 4 grown children and 2 grand daughters and have lived in Cincinnati for 37 years. I am passionate about health and nutrition and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about health, wellness and disease prevention. Let me know if you would be interested in attending one of our healthy cooking classes. I love taking care of the yard and garden, thus every so often, you may see me working outside with a huge sun hat on, my happy place! I'm nuts about playing tennis so I keep it pretty high up on my priority list.
