The cabin was quite an experience. I felt like we walked back in time!! So rustic quaint and quiet! It was beautiful inside and out. The decor all felt perfect! From the furniture to the fireplace! SO enjoyed the sound of silence as well as ourbeautiful drives! We will be back! Thank you to Martha a very communicative and wonderful hostess!

Great place to stay! The cabin is beautiful and historic. Lovely walking trails and extremely comfortable. The host was extremely thoughtful and turned on lights for us inside and out as we were checking in well after dark. We hope to be back when it snows!

The cabin was truly authentic to being 200 years old. The cabin has everything you need and is very cozy. As you go past the cabin you can walk to the top of the mountain and see the beautiful view. If you need time away from your busy life this is the place to come too.

Great cabin with tons of character

Charming cabin in a beautiful area. Clean and modern inside and extremely comfortable. Wonderful hiking trail up to a Christmas tree farm. Incredible location convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We look forward to returning soon!

Very nice cabin that was easy to find, and was as listed. I found the cabin to be well appointed with everything I needed. I really appreciate that I could bring my dog and I would definitely rent again as it was very private

Honeymoon

This was one of our honeymoon spots, the cabin had a cozy feeling and spending time by the fireplace was one of the highlights of our trip! We also enjoyed the walking trails along the property. Martha and Dan were great host!

Step back in Time

This is a authentic log house that is amazing. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with great kitchen gear. It was incredible quiet and peaceful. There is a home directly next door but we only heard the people living there talking 2 nights. The best location for just about anything you would like to do. Great Place Highly recommend it.
