Two inviting bedrooms, each with a luxurious memory foam king bed for restful sleep. Step through the glass doors to soak in breathtaking views, or draw the blackout curtains when it’s time to unwind. Need a different setup? The guest room can convert to two XL twins with sufficient advance notice.

Relax and unwind in the living room, complete with ample seating and three comfy recliners set around a warm, inviting gas fireplace.

Smart TVs throughout the home — enjoy your favorite shows in the living room and both bedrooms with easy access to live television via YouTube TV.

Blazing-fast Wi-Fi included — Enjoy professionally managed gigabit internet, with satellite backup to keep you connected even during outages.

Step onto your private deck and take in stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just 50 yards from your door, a trailhead leads directly into Pisgah National Forest with scenic access to Mount Mitchell and a network of hiking trails.

Trout fishing less than a mile away. Mount Mitchell Golf Course within 2 miles (currently closed). National & state parks nearby for hiking, biking, and horseback riding (please confirm availability due to ongoing storm recovery)

Cook like a pro in the fully stocked kitchen—complete with dishes, utensils, appliances, and plenty of drinkware. We've even included spices and cooking oils (availability may vary) to help spark your culinary creativity. Craving that smoky flavor? Fire up the gas grill on the front porch and enjoy open-air cooking at its finest.

Refresh and recharge — after your adventures, enjoy the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer, complete with complimentary detergent and fabric softener. When it’s time to wind down, step into a soothing shower or treat yourself to a relaxing soak in the jetted bathtub. We provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion to make self-care simple.

Extras to make your stay even better Cool off at the community clubhouse pool (available Memorial Day through Labor Day)—we’ve got the pool towels covered, just pack your bathing suit and sunscreen! And when evening rolls around, enjoy the large fire pit beside the pool for cozy gatherings under the stars.

Relax at the spacious, welcoming clubhouse or take a dip in the seasonal heated pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Our unit is just a short stroll from the clubhouse, pool, and cozy gas fire pit, making it easy to enjoy the best of the community.

Please note: The pool will be closed on days when the high temperature stays below 70°F (21°C) or during inclement weather.

In September, Hurricane Helene affected many parts of Western North Carolina, including the Mount Mitchell area. Recovery is ongoing, and while most roads, trails, parks, and local businesses are accessible, conditions may vary. Before heading out, we strongly recommend checking the status of attractions and your route. The NCDOT website has the most current road info. Navigation apps may not always reflect recent changes, so it's best to verify your directions. Feel free to message us with any specific questions—we’re happy to help! And a heartfelt thank-you to all the guests who’ve reached out.

Our home sits on a steep mountain ridge, and staying in a mountain property comes with certain natural risks. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept those risks. The owners, their representatives, and heirs are not responsible for any incidents or injuries—whether related to the terrain, natural events, or otherwise.
