This luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 5th floor condo was completely remodeled down to the studs with no expense spared! This condo is our pride and joy, and we are happy to share it with our guests-- Travertine floors and granite counter tops throughout, stainless steel, top-of-the-line appliances, TVs in each room, built-in entertainment center with Bose 3-2-1 entertainment system in great room, 2 Bose bluetooth Soundtouch10's, free high-speed wireless Internet, ceiling fans in each room, separately regulated air-conditioning in each room, in-unit washer/dryer, glass block and Italian marble-walled showers in each bathroom, double sinks in master bath, designer furnishings and linens ...
The irony is that you may not be able to pry yourself from the sights and sounds of the lanai, which is a mere 20 yards from the ocean!

The Royal Mauian is built on a lava pour, directly between 2 of the most beautiful, long, sandy beaches on Maui (Kamaole Beaches I and II--Kamaole 1 is also known as Charlie Young beach). The Royal Mauian features a heated oceanside pool, and newly renovated rooftop patio equipped with 4 brand new gas grills, fully equipped kitchen, ample dining tables to enjoy an oceanside dinner or a quiet cocktail at day's end, and best of all-- a stunning 360 degree view, which includes 10,000 foot Mount Haleakala, the ocean and neighboring islands, and the most amazing sunsets on Maui! Cozy Retreat with Stunning Sunsets

This cozy condo is in a perfect location! Ocean views and stunning sunsets make it ideal for anyone seeking total relaxation. A beautiful beach is just a short walk away. Restaurants are conveniently close — including the world-famous cinnamon rolls — and everything is easily accessible. We’ll definitely be back!

Great Stay at Royal Mauian

The property was just as advertised. Extremely well supplied with beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, cooler), everything we needed in the kitchen, laundry and entertainment. The rooftop was great for cooking and enjoying the sunset. The location was convenient to the beach and restaurants. The best snorkeling of our trip was right outside our window!

We had an excellent stay. The condo was well stocked with all amenities imaginable. It was very nice not to have to worry about beach chairs, coolers, etc. The condo is in an excellent location in Kihei, ideally situated between Kamaole 1 and 2 beaches, with an amazing view from the lanai. We were able to watch sea turtles feed on the rocks every amazing day. The host, Diana, was very accommodating and checked in periodically to ensure that our trip was going smoothly. We will definitely return.

Right on the beach

Property we close to the beach, which was a priority for us. Saw sea turtles multiple times from the balcony from on the beach. Close to everything we needed but not so crowded to be able to enjoy. Had a great time!

Amazing Property for your Hawaiian Holiday

This is a great property located right on the ocean. The condo is completely updated and has everything you could ever need for your stay. The amenities of the building are great and the location can’t be beat, with shops and restaurants right across the street. Another Amazing Visit to Diane's Condo

While you can stay at other units at the Royal Mauian, you will not find one that has more comfortable furnishings or everything you need when you want to stay in and fix a meal. Diane is always available to handle any issue or question. We have been coming to Maui for years and will not stay anywhere else!

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I stayed for 7 nights and our condo accommodations, location to beaches and activities and contact with the rental owner couldn’t have been better. Per your suggestion, I have now also purchased some king-size hypoallergenic pillows for the king bed. As for the safe, I arrived at the condo a couple days after you left. I discovered that the safe batteries were installed incorrectly (polarity was incorrect). I installed the batteries correctly and the safe works perfectly. Sorry for the inconvenience. From the minute we walked in the door we knew we found the perfect property for us! This unit truly is exactly as wonderful as the listing states. Beautifully updated and exceptionally clean, and best of all wonderfully appointed with great amenities! The kitchen offered new appliances, new pots and pans, and every appliance you could possibly need. Additionally, there were plenty of spices, coffee filters, and the basics to get us through the week. The owners also provided 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels, and snorkel gear. They’ve truly thought of everything! We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Maui!

Stunning unit and beautiful view

We have stayed in many units at the Royal Mauian over the years and #507 was by far the best. The renovation is stunning, the unit feels very open and airy. The furnishings are comfortable and modern while still having that Island feel. Diana was absolutely wonderful, answered any questions within minutes and helped make our stay even more lovely. I highly recommend this unit and can’t wait to stay again!

Paradise!

The property is absolutely perfect! My sister and I were looking for a beautiful oceanfront place to relax and escape. The unit is clean, fresh and very comfortable. We spent the majority of our time on the balcony enjoying the stunning ocean view or at the beach steps from the property. The building is convenient to grocery, food and coffee just across the street. Diana was a perfect host and we could not ask for a better managed unit or building. Perfect Paradise location condo

Our two week stay was absolute perfection! So many positives about this condo. Beautifully decorated, updated, clean, conveniently located, stunning views of the sunsets, direct access to the beach, rooftop garden, etc. If you like to snorkel, just walk right out to the beach and snorkel with a variety of fish and sea turtles! Snorkel equipment to rent is available right across the street along with other rentals such as paddle boards. Paddle boarding in the morning is perfect! Diana was extremely helpful with any questions and responded immediately. If you choose to stay at this beautiful condo, you will not be disappointed! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Maui!

Absolute paradise.

I can't say enough about our stay. It was our (my family, including two teenage daughters) first time to visit Maui, and we picked this location after a good deal of research and couldn't have picked a better spot for everything that we wanted to get out of this vacation. The condo itself it perfect, and full of new appliances (that may have actually been a little smarter than me, tbh.) Diane was so easy to communicate with and so very helpful at every turn. We loved our sunsets on the rooftop, from the balcony, and from the grassy lawn. We loved being on the oceanside of Kihei Road. We loved having the grills available to us. We loves snorkeling and swimming with turtles right outside of the back door. If (when) we make a return trip, I'm glad to know that I won't have to spend one minute trying to decide where to stay.

We are Minnesotans who love to escape the harsh northern winters. We chose Kihei, Maui as our vacation/ retirement home because it has great, dependable weather, exotic scenery and the constant sound of surf, no matter how calm the sea. Every time we arrive on Maui we are filled with the awe of a child in Disney World. That feeling absolutely never fades, no matter how many times we return to the island! We feel homesick when we leave and count down our "DTMs" (days 'til Maui) til we can return.

Because we are now semi-retired, we are blessed with the ability to enjoy our Maui home approximately every 3-4 months. This allows us to make sure the condo is in tiptop condition for our guests, since we re-stock the supplies and make sure the appliances and amenities are in perfect condition before we leave. From the well-stocked kitchen, household supplies, high-end dishes, cookware, and appliances, to the ample beach chairs, umbrellas, mats, coolers, beach towels, boogie boards, hair dryers, DVD's, board games, and high-end linens, we are confident that you will not find a more fully-stocked or better-maintained condo anywhere on Maui! Our goal is that our guests will not feel they are staying in a rental unit, but rather, in the home of good friends, which some of our guests become! We are delighted to be able to share our home-away-from-home with you, and would like to count you among the many guests who who return year after year.

Why they chose this property

Kihei is nearly alway sunny, has spectacular sunsets with lovely views of neighboring islands, a ringside seat for watching humpback whales from December to April, and is close to virtually anything a person would want to do on Maui. The Royal Mauian is a well-maintained property, with friendly, attentive staff, and is one of the few places on Maui where one can fall asleep and awaken to the sound of the surf just outside one's bedroom window... (I'm homesick just writing this.) Unlike The Royal Mauian, which is just a few yards from the ocean, most other vacation properties on Maui are across a busy street or even further away from the ocean.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy walking or running the gorgeous sandy beaches -- they extend for about a mile north of the Royal Mauian to over 5 miles south, past Wailea. Along that stretch to the south, is a beach-front bar/restaurant called the 5 Palms, where a person can sit on the beach and enjoy a cold drink or a nibble while contemplating the many blessings of life. There is an excellent deli/ organic food store (Moon's), several excellent restaurants, and a multitude of other shops and services just across the street from the condo. Anything requiring a car is generally no more than a 10-20 minute drive, but you could truly have a wonderful vacation without ever getting behind the wheel. The ocean, the beaches, and lounging on the lanai watching the turtles, humpback whales, and occasionally dolphins and manitees, are the focal points of this experience.
