This house opens its doors on July 9th 2022 !
Just completed in a quiet area overlooking Port-Mer, the house Les Flots de Port-Mer in Cancale will welcome couples, families with children or couples of friends.


Only 3 minutes walk from the sandy beach, protected from the wind, you will appreciate the relaxation offered, the diversity of activities proposed by the nautical center of Cancale and its sea view restaurants. It is also an ideal location to visit Cancale and the region, with Saint-Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Mont-Saint-Michel nearby.


The house is designed to be welcoming, warm and comfortable, both in terms of its facilities and the services offered : welcome gift, private parking, 70m² garden, large bright living room, large bedding, internet included, bed linen/clothes/home linen. And on request, grocery delivery, breakfast, baby care, etc.


The house for 2-4 persons is composed of :
Ground floor :
The living room is airy and bright thanks to the large windows overlooking the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area with television, and a living area.
- Separate WC.

On the first floor :
-1 shower room with bath and toilets.
- 2 independent bedrooms : one for 2 people (queen size bed 160x200 cm) with wardrobe and desk space (ideal for teleworking), the other for 2 people (2 beds 90x200 or 1 bed 180x200 cm). Baby bed available.

Outside :
Garden of 70m² with terrace and garden furniture for 4 people, deckchairs, plancha and games.
Private parking a few meters from the rental.
Sea access at 3 minutes on foot.

Equipment and services :
TV, washing machine, dishwasher, combined freezer.
Internet included.
Baby equipment is available. Beach games kit for children.
Bed linen, towels and household linen are extra. Beds made on arrival.
And to make your stay easier (on request): delivery of groceries and breakfast (1st bakery at 3,8 km)

Located in a quiet area, it is easy and quick to get either to the Port-Mer beach or the Saussaye beach, each with their specific advantages. The first for a quick swim, with calmer water, the second really nice also for playing with kids very scenic. You can go on walks, jogging tours, etc. from the house along a beautiful coast with varying landscape and views. It is easy to access beautiful places like Dinan, Saint Malo, Mont Saint Michel or Cap Frehel by car. The house itself is very modern and practical, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped for benefitting from local specialties. While the house is not huge, if feels spacious given a good layout and enough space to store belongings. We enjoyed a lovely time there.

Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Eine Stunde vor unserer Ankunft haben wir Bescheid gegeben, wann wir etwa anreisen und wurden dann auch direkt am Haus empfangen. Wir hatten immer mit Jannick einen Ansprechpartner über SMS. Wir hatten sehr gutes Wetter, durch die Atlantikluft kühlt es jedoch abends wirklich schnell ab und dann sind es nur noch 17 bis 18 Grad, weshalb wir abends nicht oft draußen gesessen haben. Umso besser, das wir den Wohn- Essbereich gut nutzen konnten.Durch die Lage des Hauses hat man die Möglichkeit, auf die ruhige Ostseite der Landspitze zu gehen, dieser Strand ist wirklich nur 3 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Wenn es mehr Wellen und Wind sein sollen, dann ist die Westseite und der Strand in etwa fünf bis zehn Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen.Wir haben es genossen einen sehr aktiven Urlaub zu führen, da man sich bei maximal 26Grad noch wunderbar bewegen kann.

Neues Ferienhaus in Strandnähe

Das neue Ferienhaus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Reihenhaus befindet sich in einer kleinen, ruhigen Anlage, deren Zufahrt mit einer Schranke gesichert und somit nur für Anwohner zugänglich ist. Aufgrund der Strandnähe ist das eine sinnvolle Sache: Es bleibt dort stets ruhig und der hauseigene Parkplatz steht immer zur Verfügung. Die Anlage liegt auf einer Anhöhe oberhalb des Strandes von Port Mer, bei guter Sicht blickt man über das Meer bis zum Mont Saint Michel. Die Bucht und der schöne Strand von Port Mer sind nur 3-5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Dort befindet sich auch der Einstieg in den Zöllnerpfad - den Fernwanderweg GR 34, der die ganze Bretagne umrundet. Wir sind abschnittsweise die Strecke von Cancale bis Saint Malo gewandert. Ein herrlicher Wanderweg, der hinter jeder Kurve ein neues Postkartenmotiv bietet! Praktisch ist auch die Bushaltestelle nur ca. 150 m vom Haus entfernt. So konnten wir problemlos zu den Start- und/oder Endpunkten unserer Wandertouren fahren; auch Cancale mit seinem Austernmarkt und einer Vielzahl Läden und Restaurants ist so gut erreichbar. Ein weiteres Highlight war für uns die Nähe zur Pointe de Gruin - einer Landspitze mit atemberaubender Rundumsicht, an der wir einmal sogar eine Gruppe Delfine beobachten konnten. Das Haus ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge z.B. nach Rennes, Saint Malo, Dinan, Dinard und zum Mont Saint Michel.

Perfekter Urlaub

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und die Kommunikation (auf Französisch) funktioniert gut. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und man findet alles, was man braucht. Der Weg zum Bäcker ist etwas länger, aber die unmittelbare Umgebung mit dem kurzen Weg zum Strand ist sehr schön, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen an der Küste.

Séjour parfait conciliant repos et découverte

Nous avons eu le privilège de passer 2 semaines dans cette maison propre, décorée avec goût et parfaitement fonctionnelle. Emplacement idéal à quelques minutes de Port-Mer ou de la plage du Saussaye pour le farniente. De belles balades ou randonnées accessibles à pied. St Malo à moins de 30min de voiture et le Mont St Michel à moins de 1h. Les proprietaires sont au petit soin et attentifs à la qualité du séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.
