Plenty of room, furnished nicely and usefully, with a fully equipped kitchen. Set in a gorgeous, private location but close to local grocery, gas, and dining.
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful chalet! The location is perfect- far enough off the main road to feel secluded, but just a short drive back to stores and restaurants. The host was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. The home itself was well maintained with the perfect balance of cozy and practical. We would love to return to this spot in the future!
The house was large and comfortable with two bathrooms and lots of entertaining things to do! There was a hot tub, pool table, theatre like seating with tv and dvd player and dart board. We did it all! So grateful the hot tub was nice and hot when we got there. The kitchen was well stocked and open to the big picture windows. It was so dark outside with no light or noise pollution it soothed the soul and we got to see lots of stars. There was a family of deer that came up to check us out as we were playing catch in the open space outside. It was a fabulous stay enjoyed by all!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Gorgeous view from the large picture windows. House was very comfortable. Very fun to play pool and soak in the hot tub!!
Loved this cabin! Such a gorgeous, quiet little spot that feels like you’re right in the forest but still close to grocery store and outdoor recreation. Unfortunately the cleaners hadn’t been there when we arrived so there was a last minute scramble to get the cabin ready for us. But once that was out of the way our stay was absolutely wonderful.
This was a very cute cabin with a nice layout that accommodates both kids and adults. Downstairs game room keeps noise out of main living/sleeping space. Location is awesome - feels "out of the city" but is very close to stores/restaurants and just 20 minutes from all the snow activities of Mt. Hood!
My family and I had an awesome stay here. It’s a beautiful house and perfect for a family or anyone just wanting to relax and get away from everyday stresses. If you’re considering this place then I highly recommend it! We hope to make this our new spot to rent every winter!

About the host

I've lived in the area for 37 years and travel back and forth to Portland which is less than an hour away. Mt. Hood is where I come to restore my balance. It's absolutely wonderful up here.
Why they chose this property
3 Bedrooms and a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, great room with wood stove fireplace, and separate basement game room with piano, pool table, darts and laundry. Bonus day bed in the game room. Multiple HD TV's, Bluray player with disks, NetFlix, large deck for sunbathing and bbq'ing, private parking, space enough for RV. Hot tub, outdoor firepit, and 2 acres of forest seclusion and a private hiking trail.
What makes this property unique
You can relax and setup a home office in the middle of the woods. There is a family of deer that live nearby that will absolutely be sunbathing on the lawn whenever they choose. There is also a little rabbit that lives under the wood pile. He is VERY friendly and will want all the carrots you have in your pockets. Please be aware when leaving that he might be hiding under your car!
