About this property
White Mountain Log Cabin
This sweet little log cabin has everything you need including a Mountain View.
The cabin provides an open concept living room, dining area, and kitchen with vaulted ceilings. It is filled with NH artifacts and local art to make your stay "North of the Notch" extra special.
The bedroom offers a queen bed and a very comfortable LL Been folding cot with a mattress. (Guest bring their own sheets and towels. Blankets and pillows are provided.)
The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, gas 4-burner stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, keurig machine, pots, pans, plates, utensils, ect. There is also a gas grill on the porch.
Leave work, school, and Zoom behind while you unplug and take in the White Mountain air. (While there is internet, it is a limited high speed plan that is NOT INTENDED FOR STREAMING.) Come with your favorite show pre-downloaded or enjoy a movie at night from our WIDE selection of DVDs.
At the cabin you will be able to relax and tune out the world since cell coverage is spotty (depending on your carrier you will be able to text). Instead, step out onto the deck and look out over the wild meadow to the mountain view or the stars at night.
The cabin isn't perfect (except to us). The bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom and we have plans to update the shower to a tub and upgrade the water heater. For now, enjoy a quick hot shower or a longer lukewarm one. We adjusted the rate until the upgrades are made.
The property is private, spacious, and little on the wild side. It it is more au naturel than groomed estate. You will feel remote while also being close to a ton of fantastic destinations. Littleton is a gem to visit while here! We are 15 minutes from Littleton's Main Street and 20 minutes from Cannon Mt.
13 minutes to Polly's Pancake Parlor 15 minutes to Main St Littleton 20 minutes to Cannon 21 minutes to Bethlehem Colonial Theater 30 minutes to Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium 33 minutes to NEK Adventures Snowmobile Tour 40 minutes to Brettonwoods 44 minutes to Santa's Village 50 minutes to Loon 1 hour to Waterville Valley
During snow or ice season all wheel drive is required to make it up the driveway. Plowing is provided but the renter will be responsible for shoveling and ice melting the steps as needed. Shovels and ice melt are onsite.

Thank you for sharing your great pictures! We love that you had a wonderful time at the cabin!
We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and had beautiful views of the mountains. Meg was very responsive and kind through out our stay. We cannot recommend this cabin enough!
Nice place. We were out most of the time, so we didnt stay there much. However, it was one of the best stocked places we have ever been in and the owner was the most friendly we have ever experienced.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! I'm glad you found the cabin well-stocked and felt welcome! Whether guests are out exploring all the AMAZING things the area has to offer or just relaxing and enjoying the cabin, I always aim to make sure everything you need is right there. You're welcome back anytime, and I hope your travels bring you “North of the Notch” again soon! ❤️
The cabin is so much better than the pictures, even though the pictures are great too! Remote enough to feel unplugged but not disconnected. Meg's communication before my stay was great and definitely helped point my in the direction of things to do. As a solo traveler I really like that the only access to the deck is through the house, kept me feeling safe the whole time.

We appreciate you choosing our little of our cabin! Come again!
The cottage was the perfect resting place after a busy day. Sit on the deck, watch the sunset. It had everything we needed to relax and it was in good driving distance to everywhere we visited. Meg is very responsive and works hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. I would definitely recommend it.

We are so happy that the cabin was "perfect" for you! We loved having you!
The cabin was amazing! Very clean, beautifully decorated, and more spacious than expected.. Meg is incredibly kind and so thoughtful, great communication from the day we booked and she gave us TONS of tips and recommendations! Sadly, we only had the long weekend this time, but we already know we’ll be back as soon as we get the chance! I spent weeks on the apps looking all over NH and VT for the perfect spot, and I’m so glad I found it
We had a great time at this little cabin. It was very private with a peaceful setting. The porch has a mountain and sunset view, and we enjoyed unplugging and annoying time to ourselves!
So many thoughtful touches in this cute cabin! We enjoyed sinking into the comfy couch and enjoying the view. The Whites are right next door. We always appreciate it when we can bring our dog with us. Thanks for a great stay!
Cabin very delightful, clean, kitchen was very well stocked!
Meg was a delight to speak with. Great location.
After adventures all day it was fantastic to come back and have a multitude of movies to choose from.
Our first trip with our dog and he loved it too
Will definitely stay again when in the area!
Our stay was absolutely incredible! We had our 9 year old daughter and our dog with us. There was so much to do and after a busy day we got to come home and enjoy the most amazing deck outside for dinner and sunsets. Meg was so incredible to speak to throughout the booking process and through our vacation. We can’t wait to visit again next summer :)
If you're looking for a cozy, quiet getaway in a remote location, this is the perfect cabin. It has everything you could possibly need and want: a well-stocked kitchen, a comfortable queen-size bed, wi-fi, and a decor that's both tasteful and inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to unwind from the every day grind and escape to a magical place.
My husband and I traveled for a family wedding and wanted a quaint, quiet cabin that felt very NE! the cabin did not disappoint and Meg is fantastic. She's very communicative and makes you feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!!
We had a great experience staying at the White Mountain log cabin. Everything was as described and the communication before, leading up and during our stay with Meg was fantastic, Meg even gave us a few good ideas of things to do while there. We will definitely put this on our list of places to go back to in the future. Highly recommend to anyone considering this cabin for a future stay.
The cabin is very comfortable and private. Meg has done a great job anticipating everything a guest might want or need. She is a very responsive host, available but not intrusive. The location is perfect for a private getaway, although it's within easy striking distance of shopping and restaurants. Loved it!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while we did some hiking in the Whites to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We found the cabin perfect. Private and quiet, and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the lovely deck. Everything the other reviewers note is spot on. It's a great place to stay and the host was fantastic. So helpful and nice. Her suggestions for places to check out in the area (especially for food) were great.
We came here after having a very tough year. The cabin did not disappoint. Meg was very informative. Everything we needed and more was available. My kids favorite part was the jiffy pop and the woods. My favorite part was the views from the cabin. Definitely a cozy place! 10 out of 10.

I’m so glad the kids made a fun memory at the cabin! We hope you will come experience summer or fall with us too!
From beginning to end, this trip was cozy and quaint. Meg was the most hospitable host we ever experienced. Her communication and suggestions prior to our trip were so helpful and her warm welcome greeting upon arrival set the stage for a perfect , relaxing getaway. The cabin was thoughtfully prepared with arrangements for all lifestyles-children, adventurers, summer , winter enthusiasts or just relaxation. Would definitely return to this wonderland.
The property was so clean and lovely. Despite there being surrounding houses, you don’t see them and the property is so quiet. Meg made the entire process seamless and truly could not have been a better host from afar. We feel really grateful to have found this location and look forward to future stays. You would be silly not to book!

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the area after renting a property in 2004. It became a dream to have our own place and allow others to build a connection with the area too. The cabin is a private and peaceful location that gives us new life everytime we visit.
