Village house with large rooftop terrace near the beach

Casa Lange is a 100 year old and completely refurnished back-to-back house, situated in the small and quiet village of Maro. From the pergola-shaded rooftop terrace you have wonderful views over the mountains of Sierra Tejada and the coast from Nerja to Punta de la Mona. A 10 minutes walk takes you to the romantic creeks of Maro. The house offers a little living-room with fire-place and dining-area, a kitchen and a bathroom, upstairs you find two bedrooms (one of them with air-conditioning) with balconies and a TV room.

Climate: The Costa del Sol has an average of 320 days of sun per year. The temperature in winter (November -February) hardly ever falls below 18° C, so the weather is spring like. It is warm enough to sunbathe all year long on the beach. In the summer months there is a light breeze that keeps the temperature pleasant.

The region: The house is a very good starting point for trekking tours. The region eastern of Malaga is the quiet part of the Costa del Sol. It has not been spoilt by mass tourism. Discover the nature park Sierra Tejeda, the romantic Moorish villages like Competa and Frigiliana or the fabulous Alhambra in Granada (1 h by car).

Great place with all amenities

Lovely little house in Maro village, at 10mins descent by foot to treasure beach or 5 mins bus ride to more popular Maro beach. Rooftop terrace, all the beach equipment that you need (no need to bring your own), fully equipped kitchen with herbs and condiments, 2 min walk from restaurant and mini super.

Vriendelijk ontvangst door de eigenaren, het huis is heel knus, schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.Wij genoten enorm van de locatie, omdat het huisje in het dorpje ligt én zo dicht op zee!

We hadden inderdaad een mooi zeezicht maar het huisje was zeer sober ingericht en sommige dingen maar misschien toch echt aan vervanging toe (zoals het bestek)

Heel charmant Andalusisch huis. Lastig parkeren maar eenmaal openbare parkeerplaats gevonden was stukje lopen geen probleem. Rustige omgeving, dichtbij Nerja en stranden. Playa Maro was overbevolkt, wandeling naar beneden van 20 minuten was prima te doen, weg terug was een klim. Er rijden bussen naar en van het strandje, laatste gaat terug om 20.30. Wij, ouders met volwassen kinderen hebben het heerlijk gehad. Rust, lekkere bedden en airco. Al het vertier binnen 15 minuten bereikbaar. We komen nog een keer.

Wunderschöne Lage, nicht so überlaufen von Touristen,wie Nerja, jedoch nur 4 kmh entfernt.Im Haus alles verfügbar, was gebraucht wird.Sehr ruhig, Klimaanlage leise.Alles sehr sauber.Dieses Haus und die Lage empfehle ich mit 100%Jedoch, jeder Mensch ist anders, empfindet anders und hat anderen Ansprüche.

Traumhaus?

Leider Ende Mai 2025 kein Traumhaus für uns - anbei ein paar Erfahrungen in Kurzform:-Haus wurde ordentlich gereinigt übernommen.-Auf allen Etagen permanenter Kampf gegen die Ameisen.-Ausstattung stellenweise stark veraltet mit mehr als eindeutigen Gebrauchsspuren.-Offener Kamin Geruchsentwicklung bei Hitze.-Paralleler Betrieb von Waschbecken Waschmaschine Schmutzwasser in der Badewanne; oft Abflussgeruch!-WLAN im Erdgeschoss OK - andere Bereiche nur sehr bedingt.-Kleiderschränke sind ein Witz!-Klimaanlage OK, aber durch Positionierung im Innenhof sehr laut.-Dachterasse sehr schön, aber wenn die Nachbarhäuser belegt sind ( u.a. mit neuer größer Aussenküche ) ist es mit der Ruhe vorbei ( und auch Alles voller Klimaanlagen... ) -Parken im Dorf vor allem am Wochenende zeitaufwändig-Und als Höhepunkt Kakerlaken im Bad - Vermieter hat uns entschädigt, da wir vorfristig ausgezogen sind. Im Zweifel muss man damit rechnen und jeder muss da selbst seine Schmerzgrenze ausloten....-Maro sehr ruhig und nur einwenig enttäuscht vom Plastikmüll an den Stränden.-Nerja: Baden und Essen top! Hinweise vom Vermieter gut!-Ausflüge nach Malaga und Granada sehr empfehlenswert.-Wandern sehr gut möglich.-Einkaufen Nerja problemlos möglich.

Maro, eine Ruheoase

Das Häuschen besticht durch seine Lage, der Dachterasse und seinen liebevollen Flair. Der Ort ist wunderschön, die Bar noch relativ urtümlich.Wir haben es sehr genossen uns hier nach den Stadttouren in Ruhe erholen zu können.Die Beschreibungen bzgl.Wlan und Auststattung könnten mal wieder aktualisiert werden.

Wunderbare FeWo in Nerja-Maro

Eine gemütliche FeWo mit einem fürsorglichen Gastgeber. Dachterrasse mit Meeresblick, Bar -Restaurant im Ort „um die Ecke“ mit Blick auf die Küste. Tolle Wanderwegen direkt vom Ort aus. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Schöner Aufenthalt in der Umgebung von Nerja

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön in Maro gelegen. Die Höhlen von Nerja sowie einige schöne Wanderwege liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe und sind somit Fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch viele weitere Orte sind durch die gute Lage recht schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man sehr gut den Tag ausklingen lassen.

Rien a dire sur l’emplacement , le village est tres propre est c'est mignon . L’alentour c'était pas le mieux a cause des serres par-ci par-là qui gâche le paysage. Je n’ai pas très apprécié la plage. Possibilité de faire de la rando et de visiter les grottes de Nerja au départ de la maison, pour le reste il faut une voiture. Le logement est tres mignon est suffisant pour un couple. Contact avec le propriétaire pas tres pratique car uniquement par e-mail alors qu'il dispose d’une personne sur place . Apres un petit problème de douche, celui-ci s’est résolu le lendemain après plusieurs echanges d’e-mails et nous avons réussi a avoir le numéro de la personne qui s’occupe du logement.

Andalusien für Genießer

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in Maro. Ein sehr gemütliches Dorfhaus mit herrlicher Dachterrasse. Ein schöner Ort umgeben von facettenreichen Stränden mit traumhaftem Meer und beeindruckenden Bergen. Sehr erholsam.

Pueblo tranquilo y bonito

La casa está muy bien ubicada en el pueblo de Maro, con unas vistas maravillosas, es vieja pero tiene su encanto, un poco más de limpieza la estancia sería perfecta. Atención y personal excelentes. Volvería a repetir

Dejligt ophold, dog er der visse ting der trænger til udskiftning f.eks en ny kaffemaskine. Dejlig tagterrasse dog er det næsten umuligt at bruge den på grund af myrer, har slået 10000 vis ihjel med det eneste der virkede (kogende vand).

Aunque he estado la mayor parte del tiempo conociendo Nerja y sus alrededores, la experiencia ha resultado buena. Lo unico desagradable es que nos hemos ido con muchas picaduras en piernas y brazos, creo que es por las muchas arañas que habian, recomendaria fumigar y quitar las telas de araña.

Gute Lage der Wohnung zum Ort und Strand

Die Ferienwohnung ist landestypisch eingerichtet, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Dachterrasse ist über viele Stufen zu erreichen , etwas unpraktisch alles hochzutragen, um dort z.B. zu frühstücken. Das Bad liegt im Erdgeschoss hinter der Küche, sodass man von den Schlafräumen immer nach unten gehen muss. Es gibt nur eine Badewanne mit hohem Einstieg und Duschvorhang , was nicht mehr ganz so zeitgemäß ist. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hat es besonders in der Küche permanent nach Abfluss gerochen, erst am Ende unseres Urlaubs konnte mein Mann etwas Abhilfe schaffen. Kein WLAN vorhanden ! Der Strand ist in a. 20 Min. zu Fuß zu erreichen, und wunderschön. Maro ist ein kleines gemütliches Dorf und nicht überlaufen.

Para alemanes…

No se proporciona forma de contactar con el dueño si ocurre algo. TODO absolutamente està en alemán, la caldera fallaba y tuvimos que traducir las instrucciones con un traductor de internet….. de esa forma nos enteramos q en caso de necesidad habia una persona en el pueblo a quien acudir…. Lo único en castellano el aviso de peligro de atasco en ls tuberías Por lo demás todo bien

Häuschen im wunderschönen Dorf

Wir waren das zweite Mal im wunderschönen Maro. Das Häuschen ist gut ausgestattet und frühstücken auf der Dachterrasse natürlich klasse. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut. Gerne wieder!

Rundum zufrieden

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön, wenn man es eher ruhig mag. Die Wohnung ist recht schön eingerichtet, aber einige Sachen könnte man "auffrischen". Leider funktionierte die WiFi-Verbindung nicht.
